Truck looks new now! I really think Chevrolet should have a a recall on their headlights or something. I can't tell you how many Tahoes and Surburbans I've seen with one eye closed. We would have to wiggle our cord in the back of the assemby, until eventually it got too frayed. So, we found this assembly and installed it ourselves.     • Good headlights but you’ll need a T40 Torx

Installed these on our 2010 Suburban. Major improvement over the old hazy headlights. These headlights are super bright, they come with bulbs and are a good fit. The fit was good, especially for the price. I would not hesitate to buy these again in the future. One thing you need to know is your MUST have a good quality T40 Torx to adjust the aiming of the headlights. Starting out after installation, the headlight beams were much too high - illuminating the trees and blinding oncoming drivers. However, it's an easy fix. The headlight beams are adjustable, but must have a T40 Torx. You cannot do this with a flat blade screwdriver, and do not try or you may damage the adjusters. When adjusting, you insert the Torx driver down into the top rear of each headlight. The teeth of the Torx driver will engage a vertically-mounted silver disc with teeth. The adjustments are very fine, so you must turn that Torx driver dozens of times to move the beam up or down. It's not hard, but I must stress that the T40 Torx is mandatory. I was able to adjust the beams just right... nice and bright, but not blinding anyone. I recommend this Torx set from Craftsman, available here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/CRAFTSMAN-Torx-Key-Piece-CMHT26163V/dp/B0B5KB5Z3F The Torx set has "T" handles, which is especially nice for the amount of turning you will be doing on the adjusters. ... show more

So many of these light assemblies come without the bulbs. Was that I found this one that included the bulbs all put together. I watched a YouTube video so it was a pretty straightforward installation took me about 30 - 40 minutes. Most of the time was just dealing with all the bolts and trying to wiggle the old light out without damaging the trim. I am not a a car person. But when I was quoted $1000 at the repair shop to replace my lights, I had to figure out a more affordable option. I’m just a 40-year-old mom out here trying to save a penny. ... show more
