I didn't read the description of this product carefully. It says to please use HDMI 1.4 cables. I was using HDMI 2.0. maybe that was the problem? I had 2 laptops connected to it, one of which was a windows computer using mini display port to HDMI cable, and the other one a mac using a USB C to HDMI adapter. For some reason when the switch was set to the Mac, it would keep auto switching to the windows one. It's strange because I have a 3 to 1 SGEYR hmdi 2.0 switch that is perfect and has no issues. Only thing I can think of is that this 5 to 1 switch uses HDMI 1.4 whereas me 3 to 1 uses 2.0, and my cables are 2.0 ... show more

Easy to setup and stays put. It has a built-in HDMI auto switcher so the most recent thing you turn on gets priority so you don't have to use the remote a lot (or in my case having used it since i purchased the product almost 2 months ago). Would highly recommend

I have an older TV that only has a couple of HDMI ports. I have kids/adults that are constantly switching gaming systems. Now they can switch between gaming systems at the push of a button! 😁 This stopped all arguments and everyone is happy now!

I got this to hook up all my gaming consoles. It works flawlessly. All you have to do is turn on whatever console you want and start playing. It automatically switches between consoles which is super awesome.

    • Solved the problem of 3 HDMI sources into a 2 HDMI input tuner
Had an older Sony tuner that only had 2 HDMI inputs and I had 3 HDMI sources. This allowed me to select the HDMI source that was fed into the tuner without having to get up and swap HDMI cables to the tuner. I ended up getting a SideClick for the Roku remote, which allowed me to control which HDMI source was selected to go to the tuner without having to use the remote for this device (the device remote worked well, but I wanted to minimize the number of remotes needed to make everything work together).
