If you buy this hat, be prepared to steam and reshape it yourself. It came in a bag and the brim and crown were all crumpled up. It looked like it came out of a dumpster instead of a factory.

Very well made. It looks much richer than it is. By that I mean it looks like real felt, but it's cotton. You have to get up close to determine what it's made of. So if you are using it for a costume prop, as I will be doing, it is really great. The shape of the brim is excellent. and It holds its shape really well. You want that up in the back and down in the front look for the "gangster" character. I'm delighted with it. I looked at any number of hats on-line and decided on this one.
