Just out of the box, it looks great. The paint finishing and texture are perfect. It fits perfectly. clear shield and sun visor work smoothly. The padding is just right. I had a little trouble fitting my prescription glasses, but I will get better at that. I thought the sun visor was a little short on the sides but outside it works just fine. It is as comfortable as an HJC or LS2 with a double price and it seems to have the safety protection that other more expensive helmets. It fogs just like any other. I'm getting the fog attachment to fix that. Noise level is toward the loud end: but ear plugs will fix it. Also there is plenty space to fit speakers.my only complain is that the tab to lift the clear visor is to far from the center an while riding it gives a little challenge to open. Other than that, it is great helmet. Next: road trip!

Its a really comfortable helmet, it didn't take long to "break in". This is a really good helmet and has good options to get different visors. It's a little tricky to put ear buds in, but it looks like there room to put a system inside the helmet. It is pretty quiet and vents really good when your riding, but when your sitting it gets warm but that's expected.

I bought this helmet when I got my triumph thruxton 1200, originally I ordered a large and it was a little to tight squeezing my cheeks together, so I returned it with NO ISSUE. I noticed like a lot of reviews say on here that it fogs up extremely quick which is absolutely true. So when I received my X-Large helmet I got on HAX website and ordered the orange visor shown in my photos and I also ordered the pinlock insert. Both arrived in like 3 days and had no issue fitting the new visor or the anti fog pinlock insert. Shortly after installing my visor I ordered a cardo spirit communication setup with the 38mm speakers and they fit like a glove, they’re not to tight against my ears and the helmet is still unbelievably comfortable. I’ve put well over 1000 miles down wearing this helmet with not a single issue, getting compliments all the time about how cool the helmet looks. But also hearing how jealous other riders are of the quick disconnect chin strap. Overall I’d buy this helmet time and time again, fits amazingly, works great with a comms setup, customer service is fantastic, and there is absolutely no sweating from my head with this helmet.

The media could not be loaded. Good product nice snug fit. Easy to use and functional. Love the quick release. Had this helmet for a few months and was so glad I got it because I then got in an accident. Before I got this helmet I had a modular helmet and sad to say I don’t think it would have held up as good. I caught gravel and went down at 50-60 mph. As you can see in the video I went down on the left side. Tons of scrapes and scratches. Yes the helmet did crack on the side. It’s definitely a good helmet that has 2 certifications (ECE &DOT). For the price it’s at you can go wrong with that. Safety is key and I’m glad they didn’t skimp out on this even thought it is a budget helmet. Overall I’m considering to buy this exactly same one again. Since riding season is coming up.

At low speeds (5 to 20mph), the wind coming into the helmet makes a sound like an airplane is right above you. Freeway speeds the helmet doesn't have the same effect and it's quite stable under those conditions. The fit is a proper snug and feels much smaller than my other helmets (Bell, Sedici). The vinyl on it is pretty good and looks great! The version I bought (light blue/orange with number 7 on it) could be considered high visibility helmet. I tried this helmet on a hot 90 degree day and can attest that it does get ventilation and my head wasn't soaking when I removed the helmet. Cons: You see the black dot by the number 7? That's a plastic push pin that flew off during my test ride. Now I either have to find a new one, buy a new one or return the helmet... for now, I'll keep it and deal with that part later. It's off brand. Not a bad thing, but don't expect the quality and fine tuned adjustments as the $500 helmets. Pros: Lightweight Looks good and doesn't have any funky/plastic smells Comfortable Affordable in comparison to the other big brands. The visor is good but it's not my preferred method of use.

Hax impulse in blade yellow. New to riding so not much knowledge of helmets. But so far it's held well and fits well and comfortablely snug. Its DOT and ECE 22.06 certified. So far no wind noise while riding. Will be looking at another helmet very soon, probably the obsidian. Too bad Hax dont have their own brand shoes, jackets, and gloves.
