I suggest getting the 4 pack at the price compared to a single which gives you extras god forbid you need them. I use a one stick climbing method and these sticks are strong. I did change the daisy chain that they come with out for a “rope mod” which was not an issue and you can still use the versa button. The spacing is great and the distance off the tree more than plenty for my foot. I’m a shorter guy but still have a size 10 boot that I don’t have a problem finding my step. If you’re in the market for budget sticks but require high end quality these are a great start. ... show more

    • They're climbing sticks, they work...

If you are into climbing trees and waiting on deer then you probably know about these sticks and their performance (and problems). Having said that, they are as advertised. I bought in July of '22 and they came with the updated suction cups (really friction cups, but whatever) so they go together and come apart easily with no breaking or excessive force needed. They also came with the daisy chain attachment straps. Some assembly is required to install the stand off and the button, basic hand tool stuff. I already have a set of Heliums and I have used them all last season, probably 60 days in trees with them. I've never bent a step or had one kick out. I use the rope mod on my old set but I am going to use the factory daisy chain on the new sticks to see how I like them. So far, in the backyard test tree, they seem to perform as well as my old set and the daisy chain strap is light and easy to manage. I haven't added the stealth strips yet, but that's next; since they are just like my old set I don't think it will be a problem. ... show more

9/10. These things become the tree when installed correctly. Only complaint the rubber/plastic things that hold each other together are kind of annoyingly difficult to pry apart in the woods. They are also sucky to push together. I noticed when they came in the mail some of the plastic locking things were oblong. Other than that they are super light and I love them. The straps provided are kind of cheap and not as sturdy as the straps offered by other similar products. I do not trust them with all my weight and after setting up another product, these may go back, although I might give them a chance as the lower steps to remove each trip to keep other hunters out of my tree when I'm not hunting this public land where my stand is currently. Also, when snapping all 4 sections together for transport, they are staggered in a way that makes them longer and kind of awkward to carry anyway, as you cannot even fold down all of the steps in this condition. Purchased these as the original climbing sticks I have are used in a more permanent stand in a great location. So to stay mobile I needed another set of sticks. These are great, they are lighter than my original sticks and so far seem quieter, the strap with definitely be quieter and I believe more efficient with the loop system on it. The part that is much better is that there steps on both sides so when I'm on the top of the stick I can stand on both feet and not just balance on one. ... show more
