I own a set of the regular Heliums and when I decided to get into one-stick climbing I went with the stick I knew already. They're good sticks - sturdy, they bite into the tree very well, and are lighter than some other sticks I've tried out.

I use it with a 3 step aider for saddle hunting. I one stick climb so the compact size is what I was after. Straps to the tree easily, holds tight (even when I had doubts at first), and comes off easily. If you’re saddle hunting I’d recommend it. Specifically for 1 sticking.

Used this for the 1st time in a real scenario today as a 1 stick. I highly recommend to get a stick with the steps angled out because bracing yourself with the top rung behind your knees is very uncomfortable. I will say they are very light and manageable but that's all they have going for them.
