First, I think this is a fantastic product and I'm glad I purchased it. I bought it for the top of my freezer. We store things up there, like boxed snacks for kids' lunches, a folded pile of rags, and other various items (this is in our laundry room and mostly out of sight). It works fine, but the width of the freezer is greater than a single back piece, but much smaller than two back pieces. I ended up rubber banding the two back pieces together and it works fine (see photo). My 2 product suggestions: 1. Make the back piece a slider so that it accommodates almost any width. 2. Add more magnets. It's held up fine so far, but I feel like it could get pushed off if I'm rummaging around for stuff on top of the freezer. I realize these ideas would add to manufacturing costs and would force a higher price point. For me, that would have been fine! I would have paid five bucks more, no problem. I had been thinking for months, "if only I could put a shelf over my washer/dryer or something". But with the vibration, stuff would fall down the back. The magnets aren't amazing, the pieces do move a bit from repeated spin cycles, but these have held strong enough I can whip laundry right out of the dryer on top of the washer/dryer and fold right there even as both washer and dryer are on. ... show more

Look, it keeps my clean laundry off the floor until I get around to folding it. That's all I care about. The weight of the clean laundry will eventually overcome the strength of the magnets, so it's like a fun little built-in timer.

I bought this to prevent fallen items behind my front loader washer. My washer is one of the smaller ones so it didn't quite fit since the rails are meant to fit the standard sized washer. Also, the rails have magnets on the bottoms (not the sides). I ended up putting a lowrise cardboard box on the top of the washer and propping up the rails in the cardboard box, which does work to keep the rails standing upright -- which prevents items from falling over the back edge of the washer. So with a modification (the cardboard box), this product works fine even for my small washer. ... show more

The magnetic bottom anchors the sections to your washer and dryer. It looks clean and keeps items from slipping behind the appliances. It tidied up the space if you have plumbing that peaks out from behind and is easy to remove if you need to. Nice idea!

My front loading washer and dryer are at different heights. I was able to use the panels separate and they work well. Ordering a 2nd set for our cottage.
