This slim tumbler is a great "extra." My husband is retired, so he makes dinner during the week and wanted an extra tumbler that I'd leave at home so he didn't have to wait for met to get home with my insulated travel cup to make me tea. The size of this slim tumbler is a great fit for my hands, and the tumbler itself keeps my tea hot for over an hour without the lid. I haven't used it with the lid, since I only use it at home. Honestly, I love these - they keep drinks hot, they're tall and skinny so fit in the car perfectly. Very happy with them after 5 months use. The lids, however, are not great. The slides have all come off so we just threw them away, then inexplicably they all seemed to lose their outer coat and are all "varnished" looking. I wanted something that was slender and more comfortable in my hand. These are a great fit. I also wanted dishwasher safe. They come out of the dishwasher clean and dry and show no signs of wear after nearly a year.

I work 4 days a week, so this 4 set was perfect for my morning coffee. I never washed the lids in the dishwasher & my cups were rarely dropped or knocked around. Within 8 months, all 4 lids have broken. In the beginning, these cups were great! Totally leak proof, kept my coffee warm, etc. At first the “leak proof” was less effect. Then the tops began to lightly crack. Finally, one by one, within a month of each other, all of the lids broke into several pieces. Good cups as long as you plan to replace semi-annually. UPDATE: I have found that this tumbler is a pretty standard size so it was not difficult to replace the lid. I do like the tumbler, so I've added stars to my review. I purchased lids from Amazon here: 20oz Skinny Tumbler Replacement... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QGX6H2M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share They seem to be a similar quality to the lid this came with, which isn't great, but at least they make it so a reasonable tumbler is still usable. The tumbler has held up well to pretty regular use. I wish there were a better lid solution. The tumbler itself is fine, it’s the lid that sucks. At first I was frustrated that the piece that moves to seal or uncover the opening for drinking was not removable, because that makes it impossible to really get clean. Now that I have used the tumbler less than ten days, that piece broke off and I no longer have any cover or seal. The loss of that tiny piece makes the tumbler essentially useless.
