I love the fact that I can store my laptop inside keep it plugged in in the compartment and have storage underneath and in both top compartments. The lights were a wash. They never worked and they kept falling off also some written instructions would’ve helped not just diagrams. On the smaller compartment lid I had to unscrew about 20 screws and flip the board around because it’s about an inch off center and it wasn’t very obvious until I went to close the thing and there was a big gap. unscrewing all those screws on the hinges left my arms full of bruises. I got it all together but the divider piece inside has pre-drilled holes on one side and they didn’t specify which way does basis so I had to draw my own on the other side because it was impossible to take it out and flip it at that point. I’ve assembled a lot of furniture lately. Written instructions really help. I like the table overall but someone really needs to redo the instructions. ... show more

I love the coffee table, however it took GREAT patience and much thought to put together. Please for your own sanity check and recheck that the sides and middle divider is correctly placed before inserting the screws. Also the top extension, make sure the brackets are turned the right way so the table will close properly … I had to take the whole table apart to get the sides lined up with the indents for the screws and again with the top lid I had to take the extension off and swap sides! That’s just me perhaps you are more carpenter savvy. I DO think the direction could be made BETTER on these details!!! I watched several videos and they too glossed over helpful points. The coffee table is Great for storage and looks Very nice when completed. Just a thought, I did not attach the small lift rods to the small section of the table top. My concern was it may not line up perfectly with the other side and I did not want to take a chance of a gap. Instead I secured the small lid by lining the underside with 1” x 12” strips along the sides to keep to keep it secure and still allowing me storage. I am a happy customer, However; be warned, it is a job to put together. I am a ‘senior’ female and did manage to put it together by myself. It just takes Patients and Thought. All tools necessary are included but helpful is an electric drill and larger screws driver. As of yet I have not approached applying the lights! They are an added bonus if and when I get to it. ... show more

Wasn't the most fun to put together, but is pretty sturdy. However, the lights don't work, and the electrical outlet doesn't work. It would be too much for me to return the table especially after all the work of putting it together. Just an FYI.

Overall the table does look nice, and opens well. Few big issues I had, the led lights on the bottom. The strip was too long for the base and it didn’t even last overnight before it fell completely off as you can see in the picture above. Assembly was east until setting up the pullout tops. Definitely need two people for that. Also the instructions weren’t great on the smaller top in which direction to screw them in and I put it backwards. The table came with minor scratches in a few spots. While assembling the table it was missing a “filler” or “ancher” as you see above and I had to stuff the hole with bubble wrap and crazy glue. Over all not completely happy with the product I expected better. But it will do I guess. Also seems a little small in the width the length is fine though. ... show more

This is a quality low end table that meets expectations. But among the various reviews are the lights. The directions are horrible and there is no way possible to install them without excess material or to make 90 degree angles without having a loop on each corner. Tried like others to mount inside the metal frame but there are support bars in the way. And like others, the two sided tape did not hold and woke up with lights strip on the floor. Bought glue to take care of the adhesive issue and now my light bar broke in two and do not work. I will try to get a replacement or partial refund but not worth returning a fully assembled piece that took hours. Only other alternative is to find other lighting that hooks into USB port. ... show more

The only problem I had were the string lights. The instructions were easy enough to follow but when it came to install the lights, I noticed right away that there is no adequate way to mount them. Either you place them facing the ground and have to navigate 90 degree turns or you align them to the inside surface and have to rope them across the center bar in a weird angle. It just doesn't work either way. I wish they created a better way to mount these lights. Not sure if you can see in the pictures but I ended up breaking the wires in the lights. I have to replace them now. ... show more
