  • Shipped in its packaging.
Style: TRIVIAL PURSUIT FAMILY
This product came with everything intact, with only some very minor scuffs to the corners. It was shipped in only its own box, which was then covered in (professional) shrink-wrap. This was slightly concerning for me, as this was delivered from the USA to Japan (and usually, all products are shipped in an additional cardboard box, to protect the product). However, everything inside the box was in perfect condition and any wrappers or additional packaging was unopened. PLEASE NOTE: - Some reviews have stated that this game is the British edition. However, my delivery contained many American-centric questions, relating to either "famous" things in America and/or American pop-culture that might not be so well-known outside the US (like the "Big Red Dog" children's books, American TV shows, etc). American English was also used throughout the cards, such as the use of "soccer" (for the widespread and international term of "football") and "color" (instead of "colour") in the same question. You can see this evidence in the attached photo (which I've edited to highlight some of the points I've mentioned). I also noticed that customer service information for Australia and New Zealand on the side of the box, which might suggest that either the American version was sold, as-is, in those countries, or that terms like "soccer" (which are also used in Australian English) suggested it was using localised English for those territories. In conclusion, I found the children's question cards fairly accessible in 2022, even for a British person. I believe I will be able to use these cards/this game as part of English (EFL) language lessons for my Japanese (child and adult) pupils. They just might need to use their smartphones to answer most of the questions to check what the words mean or just for the answers to many of the questions feeling with foreign culture. They will, however, be able to answer most of the questions about Japan (as I noticed several involving "origami", "judo" and "karate" in the cards). Thanks! ... show more

  • Highly recommend for knowledge lovers.

My Elementary school age kids love this game! We don’t always play with the board. Sometimes we just like to go through the cards and it’s justvas fun. Also live that there are adult cards that are harder.

  • BUYER BEWARE - This is the BRITISH version, not the USA.
Style: TRIVIAL PURSUIT FAMILY
Cards are specifically about British trivia. First kids cards we drew: "What children's TV show on the BBC...." and "What town is the show XXX on Channel 4 set in?". What?? This is only for people in the U.K.

  • Awful
Style: TRIVIAL PURSUIT FAMILY
This is a crime against humanity. For fans of the classic version and the first two updates, this will serve as a reminder that idiocy has taken over. YouTube as cultural signposts, Netflix as artistic awareness...it’s awful. If you read books, watch films, and are relatively aware, this game is NOT for you. ... show more
