I have no idea what all these other people are doing or complaining about. This wrapping paper is perfectly fine. Yes it’s a bit thicker, but that doesn’t change anything. Unless you’re truly incompetent and truly can’t trust yourself to wrap a present carefully, then don’t get it. But if you’re like anyone else, then it works perfectly fine. Double sided scotch tape works perfectly on this and none of the tape is visible anywhere. I was almost about to not buy this because of these other reviews but I wanted to try it for myself. The only the I would say is that it does not have a grid on the back. So you have to measure and mark it all yourself. I use a perfect gift wrapping formula so it doesn’t make a difference to me but that’s just an fyi. This works perfectly great as gift wrapping paper. Just don’t be an idiot.

Black wrapping paper is hard to find! I really likes the look of this. My only issue is that it's like craft paper and pretty thick, so it was a little hard to open for my 4 yr old. But it was aesthetically pleasing and I would purchase again.

Better paper than I expected to be honest! I always use brown craft paper for wrapping, and I decided to change it up this year. Best paper!!! So thick, sturdy, not flimsy, it was beautiful! I was able to wrap about 14 small/medium gifts with one roll.

it’s not thin and easy to work with because it’s not gift wrapping paper it parcel paper for shipping. it creases we’re you don’t want it to because it too thick and doesn’t give you nice clean tight folds because again, it’s too thick. if you want to wrap a parcel it’s great if you want to wrap a gift avoid this paper.

This paper is like construction paper, similar to a paper bag weight; thick and a bit hard to use for wrapping gifts. Color is beautiful but wasn't what I expected for wrapping paper. I also decided I need the cutting squares on the back of all future paper 😁
