Not a new game, but ALWAYS fun to play with friends..

I played this when I was a kid and it's still a great game if you only have 30 minutes to spare. In 30 minutes you can easily get in 3-4 rounds of brain busting fun. This game is really about trying to mentally out maneuver your friends by coming up with words starting with whatever letter the die at the beginning of the round gave you that are unique enough to answer the prompt that no one else has thought of it. If no one else thought of your answer you get a point and so on down the prompt card each round. If your answer is the same as someone else's you both cross it out and lose that potential point. What I love about this game is the creativity in answers and how far you can bend the rules. We always play that the group votes on whether your answer is valid or allowable since it always gets a little fuzzy as the game goes on and our competitive nature picks up. It's a mental gymnastic type of game that is face paced and frustrating but over all lots of fun and laughs with a good group. A real classic that has great replayability.

Wow, can the category cards be any smaller? To have up to 6 players looking at this teeny, tiny category card with teeny, tiny writing is a struggle. Beyond this complaint, game is very fun and great for family game night!

This game is easy to learn. You get a list of categories and roll a dice to get a letter. Within the specified time, write down items in those categories that start with that letter with the goal of not matching anyone else's answers. You play 3 rounds with the same categories but different letters. It's a lot of fun to see what people come up with! I also love this 6 player edition so you have everything for up to 6 players but you can copy the category lists and play with even more people.

I loved this game growing up and thought I would share it with my family. The game is still fun but the "folders" are not the same and just cardboard now.
