This totally destroys the 1990s version. I looked a few years ago on ebay and prices were $100-$500 for incomplete and broken sets. The packaging, pieces, artwork and quality are awesome and for $75! If you liked the original this is the same game with better pieces. Easy to learn and fun to play. No RPG experience needed or complex playing mechanics.

As other reviewers have noted, the quality of the components is even better than the first round. While the dice are now plastic, they're high quality and the different expansions often come with cool variations on the dice. The furniture are solid and well-detailed plastic now rather than cardboard assembled on plastic frames. I'm impressed by the new figures; they're much more varied and interesting! Really impressive improvements! And so many EXPANSIONS! I'm thrilled to see even more expansions being released. This game has infinite replayability between all of the quests and the ability to build your own. We're excited to try the app soon, too! What a great way to improve this classic and make it everything the amazing classic was AND MORE!

Great game!! Takes up a lot of room to play and organize but it’s worth it! The minis are well made, good sized, and detailed. My kids are 8 and 10 while I play the evil wizard and they do great. I even go off script and try to make it more challenging for them and the mechanics of the game keep it fun for them to stay engaged and defeat whatever I throw at them. I’ve only caused tears and anxiety once! 😅Definitely a good use of time over watching another episode of (fill in the blank).

I've recently entered the wonderful world of board games. I found that I like Dungeon Crawlers and I wanted to play one of the fathers of the genre and I wasn't disappointed. Minis are great. Rules are simple but they add a lot of fun. The only problem is that I always play solo so I needed to use the app...but in Colombia it is not available. I had to use an alternative version (Herocoop) but I think that it's better than the original. When I finish the missions I will buy an expansion.
