Very easy to use i got for this for my 9 year old for his first drone having never flown one before. By day 2 he was able to maneuver all thru the house showing me he was ready to try it outside. Batteries do get warm but not hot and after a few weeks of use batteries still hold charge well. It came as described. Only downfall is the camera will not link unless phone or device is running 5g. 4g will not link up. Camera and controls work well the drones light is pretty bright and easy to see when night flying. The unit is great. It takes of and lands with a touch of the button. However the app does not link easily. Additionally, just as you are getting it calibrated the battery runs out. Definitely reccomend getting extra battery packs as you really only get 6-8 minutes out of one charge. And it takes 45 minutes to recharge the battery. This is a great flying drone with really cool lighting. The altitude hold works well and so the drone is quite stable in flight. Easy to control. The ring surrounding and protecting the props light up with a bright yellow light. I had trouble getting into the battery compartment, but if I had read the instructions fiist I would not have had a problem. Goes to show that even if you have a bunch of drones you still need to read the instructions first. There is a little post that looks like it is for a screw. There is a little switch just above and behind it that if you press it down the post goes down and the battery cover slides off easily. I figured this out after I had chewed it up a little prying with screwdrivers and letter openers. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. This drone has very good instructions and it is a lot of fun to fly.     • Fun for all ages!
This is a fun beginners!! I have use a lot of different types of drones and this one is one of the easiest I have used (as long as you're not flying it high). The drone is circular and has lights that are all the same color all around. This makes it really hard to tell which was is forwards or backwards. With time you're able to get a good idea of which way it's facing but definitely not for a newbie. The battery life is on par to drones of this size. But that being said, the battery life is very very short. You can get one good 5-8 flight before you need to charge again. Best part of the done is the bumpers! If you're new to drones this will help you not break blades, motors, or the housing! Overall this is a fun little drone! ... show more

    • easy to control but the battery dies after 10 mins of playing
This drone is easy to control, way easier than the other drone that I have. However, the battery sucks, it dies after 10 mins of playing and needs recharge. That is why I gives it a 3 star. The interesting thing with this toy is the kids would come and play with it for about 5-10 mins and they'd move on to do something else. Not sure if that is because they know the battery will die soon or this toy can only get their attentions for just a short time. ... show more

this is great for beginners and for indoors. I have never flown before, I don't even play video games so I don't have controller experience. The battery life is decent and they recharge relatively fast. The app is good. Camera is nice. Before you spend big money on an outdoor drone, this is great to get some basic skills and see you interest. ... show more

I usually only buy products with good reviews so maybe I received a defective item. The plastic pieces on bottom of the drone did not line up evenly. I troubleshooted over and over to get the drone to pair to the controller and had better luck when I tightly taped the two pieces of plastic together. It's still not working well though. I was able to pair it and get it up in the air but the camera is not connecting to the app anymore when I got it to connect once prior. It's very cheaply made. I wasn't expecting the quality to be amazing for the price but it doesn't even work. ... show more

Cool drone and instructions are easy to understand. However drone didnt have enough power for an outside flight due to a slight breeze it failed to fight like my other mini drones do. Havent flown it by phone app yet but was able to get camera working.
