  • We played the game and loved it.
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
A 15 year old teenager and the 2 adults here love this game. We played it with the Kinect and had a blast. We aren't gaming purists. When my husband and I were young "pong" and "pac-man" was all the rage. (I think my parents still have the radio shack "pong' gaming box and controllers that came with it.) We just know a fun game and one that works appropriately when we see one. This is one of them. Believe me, there is much to enjoy about many of todays games including this one. I read some of these negative reviews and I think people just don't know how to see a good game for being a good game. Great Graphics and tons of fun. No glitches in our game at all. Keep in mind...there are many posting negative things against anything associated with the kinect because they are against any system that rivals or surpasses the game system they are currently playing. It's pathetic but true. ... show more

  • The Game was Great
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so I begged my parents for the game. I got the game for Easter and played it right away. It was WAY better than I thought; I played it for almost the whole day. I loved the kinect so much! I played it with my sister who also loves Harry Potter. We both had a great time casting spells! I also really enjoyed the X BOX section. Everything was so realistic! All the big events in the book were in the game the seven potters, the wedding, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione had to run away, etc. I would give this game five stars! All in all it is a great game, and I would highly recommend buying it! ... show more

  • Not Worth the Money
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
My son was disappointed with this game. He said that it was like doing the same thing over and over. Very little variation. The spells were the same thing in every level. The scenes were basically the same. Nothing ever took place in the school, only in the woods. There was only one character. I payed full price and was definately not worth the money. He tried playing it using the Kinect and with the Xbox 360. Was not good either way. Although he completed the game (out of obligation for the amount of money payed) this game is not recommended. He played the game very little. ... show more

  • A guilty pleasure of mine

Do not go in expecting a quality game, or even a good movie tie in. Go in expecting a shoddy GTA mod with a rehash of the movie’s plot points.

  • Very realistic!
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
It's been a tradition to buy our daughter the game every year since the first one came out. This one is so realistic and the graphics are amazing. We love the fact that you can use kinect for some challenges, which feels so real. I wish the whole game was kinect, but it would get tiring. The game is challenging, but fun. ... show more

  • Harry Stupify and the Spastic Gestures
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
OK. I really wanted to like this game. It seems like it has the potential to be the ultimate fantasy roleplaying gesture game. Well, guess what, it just plain sucks. There is no effective "aiming" with Kinect, it doesnt respond to verbal commands for spell components, and the Kinect gestures are misread, grossly slow and in some cases impossible to trigger from the onscreen instructions. Even using the game with just the standard XBox 360 controller is simply awful. Aiming manually wiht the controler is way too sensitive and thus grossly inaccurate. Of the dozen downloaded and purchased games I have, this is easily my least favorite. I would rather play: Kinect Adventures, Kinectimals, Worms 2: Armageddon, Peggle, or anything in the Rock Band series than this POS. Ignore the Harry Potter branding and AVOID IT like the plague. ... show more

  • Boring
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
I have really enjoyed the harry potter games especially the prisoner of azkaban. First of all, the better with kinect description is complete b.s. There is a special menu to use the kinect during which you just fight people. The actual game itself is so full of story that I rarely ever feel like I'm playing. I love harry potter. All the books and movies have impressed me and inspired me but this game was a fail. I guess I have it in my collection tho. ... show more
