I used to have a Chemex but that one ended up breaking because it's made with glass. This coffee server is perfect for making both hot pour over and iced coffee for 1-2 people. And it's so reasonably priced without me having to worry it'll break!

As with the V60 cone, this range server is an industry standard. If you’re making more than a single cup with your #2 V60 then this is a perfect accessory. It’s light weight and durable. I’ve used mine for years with no problem. It’s easy to wash by hand or in the machine. It looks great and it’s glass, so it easy to see your volume.

I'm not a heavy drinker of pour over coffee but when I started learning about the techniques involve I became interested. The coffee from this compared to my espresso machine really does give different taste and flavor. It's more...refined? These are really great for making at night and leaving them in the fridge for tomorrow and it'll be all cool. Its small and the amount I'd drink for my cup. It also lucks nice.

The coffee pot of my pour over coffee maker broke after 18 months. The original set is no longer available so I decided to find a coffee carafe to replace it. This one is a little big bigger but fits and I like it a lot. I just hope that it does not break.

Be careful! The carafe breaks very easily. I dropped a teaspoon from about 3 inches at the top of the carafe and the bottom broke out. Otherwise it worked as ecpected.

I originally received this item as a gift (along with the rest of a V60 pour-over set). After using the server for a couple months, the item cracked after being bumped while I was making my coffee one morning. I contacted the company and their response was "Our products are covered by a limited warranty but glass breakage isn't covered unless the product arrives damaged or is broken shortly after arriving". I loved my pour-over set, and decided it was worth it for me to purchase another server so that I could continue using the set. After receiving the new server and using it for about 9 months, the server cracked again. This time, the glass shattered (as you can see in the attached image), as I was just just routinely taking the lid off the server. I again reached out to the Hario team to ask if anything could be done as this was the second time one of their servers had broken. Their response was that I was "too far beyond the warranty window" (contradicting what they had previously said about glass not being covered under warranty), and then following that up with "If you are looking for a new server. We are having a 15% off black friday sale this weekend". Needless to say, I did not buy another server during the Black Friday sale. I let them know I would be writing a review about my experience, and purchasing a new server elsewhere. I went with the one by Ingeware, and so far it seems to be sturdier (and larger!) then the Hario version, and works just fine with the V60 cone.

Most coffee servers are much larger and of different shapes. This one is shaped perfectly for a cone-shaped coffee dripper on top and just the right size for 500 ml of coffee.
