I bought this after reading many other reviews and surprisingly, this one had ZERO reviews when I decided to get it and see what happens. I liked the included bits and the extension attachment for what I was using it for. I was grinding a small concrete gnome. I'm a first time dremel style tool user so, I thought this was a decent one to try. I am handy and have other tools so, I'm not completely a novice with DIY tools. I ended up having to purchase additional shaped bits for my specific use but, the ones included are decent...I needed the diamond bits. After using the larger tool for a day, at one point, I lost the bit, it must of flew off. Luckily, I found it and was not harmed. So, I check and tighten it every 15-30 minutes to make sure it's still in there snug. I wear eye protecting and a mask btw. I then tried the smaller extension tool. It was easy enough to hook up if you have common sense. I do like this tool as it is lighter for detail work. Both get a little hot when using it for a while so, take breaks. I also use a small spray bottle with water to cool the bits while I'm grinding concrete so that probably helps cool the surface but the tool itself gets hot but not so hot that you can't touch it. The tool is really nice. It seems powerful and fits comfortably in my hand. The shaft lock button is big and send to give a good, positive engagement. That's why I ordered this to replace a big name brand tool. The only reason I rated 4 stars is the case is super cheap and I just feel that if I trust it then I'll be picking up tons of accessories off of the floor when it comes open on me. What I like most about this kit is the inclusion of the flex shaft. It is about 3' long. Also, the threaded collar of this accepts all attachments from my dremel (including my chainsaw sharpening guide). - Power cord length is about 6' long. - On/off power switch on one side of handle; variable speed dial on the other. - The collet lock pin button (spindle lock) is oversized and works well. - The quality of the storage case was a non-issue for me as I keep this in a tool chest drawer, however there is nothing wrong with the case - it just isn’t overbuilt. Everything included does store in the case frustration free. - Attaching and use of the flex shaft is typical of many other brands and clearly outlined in instructions and online with seller ad. - The included accessory bits are plenty to get most off and running with this tool on day 1. Again, as inexpensive as all bits are, my purpose for ordering this item was for the tool itself and the included flex shaft. I was not out to find a kit with as many bits included as possible. - This has plenty of power. It never bogged down between my use of sanding drums or sharpening stones when I applied more pressure than needed. - Easy to hold and control. This kit comes in at just a little more than the dremel flex shaft alone sells for. The dremel flex shaft allows for slightly easier and faster bit changes. As for overall value, I think this Hardell tool kit is a really decent choice for those needing a consumer grade rotary tool. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The rotary tool kit has a great feature I was not expecting…the extension cable. It really made working with the rotary tool easier. The kit also came with many grinding/sanding attachments.

HARDELL Model# HYA6021 ROTARY TOOL KIT 130W includes Drill, Flexible Shaft, accessory sanding disc, buffing pad, drill bits, tools for changing accessories, Hard Case for storage with carry handle and User Manual. With the proper Collet installed individual tools,can be interchanged without tools. A “ Spindle Lock Button” on side can be pressed to lock shaft to unlock Collet to change tool. Turn shaft slowly pressing Button and it will depress into lock slot. Hold until the change is complete. The ON/ OFF Switch is slide type with positive click into either position. ROTARY SPEED CONTROL is on side of drill. The last page of User Manual has a handy chart of speed choice for different operations on various type materials. The Flexible Shaft stores in the top part of case. Since the shaft has a flexible spring it tends to “ spring open “ when the box is opened. Closing box must be carefully accomplished or it will spring out before lid is closed. There are good ACCESSORIES assortment to get started. A separate plastic container with latching lid houses the accessories and fits inside the larger storage case. I like the kit.     • Easy To Use Even For a Newbie
I ordered this because I wanted to start a new hobby...I know NOTHING about these types of devices. That being said I found this easy to use. I have not explored all of the capabilities but I am starting our slowly...I have some crystals and rocks I want to polish and this is working very well. I do not know the names but I found it easy enough to remove bits and try different ones to polish the rocks I have picked up along the way. I got this HARDELL Rotary Tool Kit,130w Rotary Tool with 95 Pcs Accessories, flex shaft，6 Variable Speed for Crafting Projects and DIY Creations, Cutting, Polishing, Sanding, Curving, Drilling, to add to my workbench tools. I am 72 years old and definitely a novice in using a Rotary Tool. What impressed me was, first the low cost, followed by the amount of accessories that where included. I find the instruction manual easy to understand and follow. I really like the Flex shaft, for fine delicate tasks, I like the way that it fits in my hand with a pencil type grip, giving me great control. The case stores all the parts nicely. In my opinion, for someone looking to start using a rotary tool, this is a great choice. I know I will be looking forward to using it on various home projects. ... show more
