Exactly what I needed. I needed a tool capable of cutting through acrylic sheets for crafting. The rotary tool was able to cut through 1/8 sheet of acrylic. I will admit it took time depending on the setting— there's three speeds. I used the second speed as I'm an amateur using this tool. So power was not an issue in my opinion. It does auto shut off if it gets stuck, so that is useful—if unexpected sometimes. But better than it randomly breaking on you. There weren't any instructions provided other than an admittedly vague diagram for how to attach the bits/heads. But it was simple enough to figure out through a bit of trail and error. The kit is portable, obviously. You can stick it in a decently small bag. I keep mine in a craft drawer. The price I think is fair, especially since it's rechargeable. Which is a big plus for me. It'll also run while charging which I loved.

I bought for my daughter, and it turned out to be a great choice. It’s lightweight and easy to hold, which is perfect for smaller hands. She can use it comfortably without getting tired. The 5-speed settings are very helpful — she started with the lowest speed to get used to it and now feels confident using higher speeds when needed. We’ve used it for small DIY projects, sanding, and polishing, and it works really well for that. The kit comes with plenty of accessories, so there was no need to buy anything extra. I also like that it’s cordless and USB rechargeable — super convenient. Just keep in mind, this is not meant for heavy-duty work. It’s ideal for beginners, hobbies, and light projects. Overall, a great little tool — my daughter loves it! 😊

Fantastic powerful little thing. Works great for dog nails. I have a GSD btw. Tool attachments are great for at home acrylic nails as well. This cuts wood, metal, etched, grinds and sands as well as drilling holes.

Great little tool. Isn't the most high-powered, but it has good, steady spin and gets the job done. Comes with a wide assortment of tips for various purposes, all sturdy and well made. Had to read the instructions to figure out how to load tips as it wasn't super intuitive, but once I figured it out it was very easy to put in and remove them. It doesn't come with any charge, so you will have to plug it in for a few hours before using. Has pretty good battery life once charged, though. The handle is fairly light/easy to hold and buttons didn't seem to get in the way of grip. Grinding tips are smooth and consistent and didn't leave any gouging. Overall recommended for art projects and other light to medium duty.

There's even a little light by the bit to illuminate the work. Super nice feature. Slam dunk. Smaller and cheaper than a Dremel, better for the job than a Dremel.

Cheaper than a brand name Dremel and works great! I really like the fact that there is a light that goes on while you use it. It helps visibility a lot when in use. It has a good amount of different tools and speed settings which makes it perfect for whatever project you're working on. I could see how it may not be perfect for more heavy projects, but using it on EVA foam for cosplay is great.
