I spent over 30 years working with tight tolerances in machine manufacturing. I am rather impressed with the quality of these. I checked and double checked the accuracy. From an angle standpoint everything measures up properly. None of my measurements were more than 0.1° out. Most measurements were dead nuts on. And after measuring multiple times it's clear these will more than do the job. The knobs and clamping components are excellent. Everything fits. The surface finish and color are consistent. This is a great clamp. However, I made some picture frames using two by fours. I had to modify the screw studs a little bit to get it to work but it did the job and it’s very precise. Exactly what I was looking for would be nice if they offered longer studs for making frames of thicker materials.

For what this is and the price its very handy to have. I have a few plastic corner brackets that I had to use clamps with, drilled some holes in the center of them and use this works well.

I checked the clamps for square and they were true. The product is consistent with its description. The clamps feel more solid being constructed from aluminum vs plastic and I expect them to hold up better over time. I have not used the clamps yet so I cannot speak to ease of use. That said, I suspect there is room for some product improvement, mostly to the fixed blocks (e.g. option to rotate 90 degrees for wider surface contact with the wood and/or some protective element to reduce the risk of the block marring the wood) ... show more
