If you are a craftsman and work with wood or build items needing holding items at right (or 45°) angles, this is a solid tool for you. What is in the box - 2 right angle squares (~5" per side), 4 knobs, 4 L-screws, and 4 braces. Build quality - The braces and squares are made of anodized aluminum. They are solidly built and sturdy enough to place a significant amount of pressure on the pieces you are holding together. The squares are cleverly cut so that it not only holds items at right angles but also at 45° angles. There are multiple holes allowing for strategic placement of L-screws. What I would fix - There is very little to criticize. This is so well executed that its difficult to find fault. Perhaps the only thing I would change is the narrow design of the braces. Their waist is narrow and they have a broad base, which creates a lot of hard angles. If you are using a soft wood, these sharp angles could cut into the wood and mar it. The solution is simple - an intervening shim. Another possibility is including an extra set of L-screws, braces and knobs. I own several braces and clamping systems and this is one of the nicest of the lot. They are easy to assemble, stable, well constructed, and smartly designed. I will definitely use them for my next build project (they all require me stabilizing pieces at right angles).

Neither square in the set I received was truly square when compared against my trusted squares.

This tool is true to square and very durable. It looks like it's anodized aluminum like many tools out there sold on Amazon. Everything in this package works as described and is packed very well to prevent damage, but of course this is another tool that includes no instructions, which annoys me. Otherwise, it's a solid set.
