This thing has some razor sharp edges! I was bleeding before I knew it just moving the thing into another room. I think it was the bracket the motor is mounted to. I didn't feel it at first until I saw blood. The honey gate was put on sideways. There is a few dents maybe from shipping in the tank.     • Works as advertised, but has a few issues
Overall, i am happy with the extractor. Its is quiet, sturdy and extracts the honey. However, there a few design issues. 1. The cord is to close to the bolt which keeps the motor attached to the can. I have to bend the electric cord to tighten/loosen the bolt (for cleaning) it will cause damage over time. 2. I cut my hand on the inside of the can (where the leg attaches to the can, a piece of metal from the welded pins was not flush with the inside of the can ), i can shave that down, but it shouldn't be there. 3. The nuts and bolts holding the lid to the motor assembly keep vibrating loose,. ... show more

Works very well! Only reason for not a 5 is that it had a dent we had to fix so the frame spinner would not hit the dent. We managed.

Main body of extractor is bent/dented, was concerned that would impede the centrifuge, but the frames just barely clear it. The top lid/door is cut completely sloppily and barely covers some spots while having huge hangover on others. The mechanical housing was bolted over the lid fasteners, so had to remove it to attach the lid. Motor starts quickly, then lurches before going full speed. I wouldn’t recommend this product… it’s so mediocre and you can do better, but it got the job done. ... show more

Extractor came dented and alignment of lids was a real challenge. Took it apart and did some body work and finally got everything to line up. A bit disappointing.

Had a dent when received but popped right out. Ordered 3 frame and received 4 frame so it was a win for me. Haven't used it yet, but everything works on it.

In no time the honey was flowing, even at full speed there was hardly a bit of vibration, and we extracted roughly 35% more honey, than the previous extractor. Anticipated 9 gallons got 13 and a half.

    • 3 frame honey extractor was easy to assemble
A wonderfully designed beekeeper tool for extracting honey from my all sized frames. It worked very well. You will need to anchor the legs on a particle board or some plywood when using the extractor and spinning the frames quickly. The reason---The legs will slide and wobble around the room otherwise. The motor is smooth and the system is well designed---except I would recommend that the honey gate be placed slightly lower and the inner drum be slanted even more so towards the honey gate. ... show more
