Had higher hopes for this product, but am unsure if its user error or not. It would work okay, but popped out from the vacuum hose nozzle easily even when I got the same size needed.

Size: Large Color: Fits All Shop Vacs
The media could not be loaded. Situation: we have 5 cats at all times in the house (fostering) sometime special needs and cats make messes Bought for: Didnt want to lug out the big carpet cleaner (Bissell) for ever little mess, plus it’s painfully loud like ear plugs needed loud. I hooked it up to my 4.5hp shop vac and I don’t see myself lugging out the carpet cleaner until the entire house needs it. I love this attachment. The plastic is thick, which I was worried about seeing some of the other listing showing that cheap cloudy plastic. My advice: the large is great but it requires a seal to really work so if you have uneven surfaces ( like our couches have braiding on them) it doesn’t work as well. So in that situation I should have gotten a small. Plus the large requires a very very flexible hose which mine is not, so I had to fight with the shop vac. So I’m probably gonna order a small too. I use a pump hand sprayer for solutions since I didn’t want to shell out 80$ for an in-line one. Overall I would definitely recommend this product if you have a good shop vac. I bought this and a brush drill attachment mainly for pet stain removal after my Bissell Little Green died. This combo does such a better job in every way (Power drill brushing vs. manual brushing and my 4.5hp vac I have laying around vs whatever tiny motor is in that thing). Huge improvement at a fraction of the cost considering the tools I already have available. This makes me want to detail my car carpets that aren't even dirty. ... show more

I use this in combination with a 4 Gallon 5.0-Peak HP Portable Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum with a commercial grade replacement hose. This wand comes with 2 hose adapters and 1 of them fit very snug to my hose, it will not screw in quite all the way down but it goes down enough to create a good seal, it is very tight. The wand gets attached to a steel hose and again its a very tight fit, you might need some force to slide it on so be careful to keep it straight when sliding it on so you don't brake the plastic. The plastic is fairly thick and feels solid, but its still plastic and I can easily see how it could crack the neck if you slide it on being this tight with a "bending" motion, so just don't rush it, it will fit. This is a very entry level wand for extraction of water, but I still find it working as intended together with my Wet-Vac, if you are not a professional carpet cleaner you will do well with this set up for small to medium jobs of extracting water from area rugs or the carpets in your car. ... show more
