I really wanted to love this boa, but from the moment I opened the bag, it was a disaster. Feathers immediately started flying...on me, on the floor, everywhere. I took it outside, hoping a good shake would help. Nope. It just spread the mess even further. Wearing it? Forget it. Everyone who got near me ended up covered in stray feathers—on their shirts, in their hair. It was like a shedding bird followed us around all night. I finally gave up and tossed it in the trash. Loved these. I made a hat for school sport week. They were full and the color was consistent throughout both boas. Very little feather loss while sewing (picture shows total) and not as much as expected during wear.
