  • perfect instrument for 3 year old!
Color: Blue
My daughter had a cocomelon ukulele that we found at a local walgreens. it lasted a month! This one is much better made and holds up to a 3 year old constantly “tuning”. it’s the perfect size for her tiny hands and sturdy.

  • My Toddler Loves It!
Color: Dot Blue
We bought this as a toy for my 3-year-old son. He is really in to anything musial and loves to carry this around the house and put on "concerts". He's pretty rough so it definitely doesn't keep a tune long BUT it's been super durable and the paint still looks new. No noticeable dents or scratches after almost 2 months of hard use. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Playable for a toy
Color: Blue
This ukulele was purchased for my daughter. She wanted one because I play one at bedtime for her. The paint job is mostly good. Amazon sent me a used one, and they sent me a new one without making me send the old one back. It does take a very long time to tune this ukulele. The strings need to be stretched, so I over tightened them and this definitely seemed to help. I was able to play some songs on it. The tuning has improved, you just have to be patient with it. After all, it’s not a professional instrument. It’s not very loud, but it’s not very big so this was expected. It’s the size of a soprano ukulele. Overall, it’s a good beginner ukulele for young children, especially for the price! ... show more

  • Sturdy!
Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. Bought this ukulele for my 2 year old almost 6 months ago. It has held up to all kinds of abuse - no strings popped, still tunable, and structurally sound! Paint is still bright and beautiful after many bangs and drops!

  • Better quality than expected
Color: Blue
My son loved this ukulele. It was perfect size and I love that it's a real instrument, not a toy. Really good quality. Very well made. My son has dropped it quite a few times and im surprised very little damage was made. Used an online tuner to tune and works great. Recommend and would even purchase again to gift this item in the future. ... show more

  • Fun for 1 month
Color: Blue
We bought this for our daughter (who will be 3 in August). She loved "playing" this ukulele every day the past month. She's obsessed with the movie Coco and pretends to be a guitar player/singer. Just this past weekend we were tightening up the plastic strings and 1 came detached from the metal. Upon closer inspection it looks like the plastic strings are just glued to the metal adjustment pieces. I imagine they will all detach here soon enough. I'm not sure if I should try to use a strong adhesive to reattach it or figure out another way to secure it. the strings are cheap plastic and does not seem like they will last long. Also, the paint on the body of the guitar is already chipping. She's had a lot of fun with it the past month so I hope we can figure out a way to get more life out of it. I wouldn't purchase it again. ... show more

  • Grandchildren loved this
Color: Blue
I bought one for a Christmas gift and six months later for birthday had to get another for little brother who also wanted one. The boys were 4 and 2 at the time. The uke can be played, but I'm not sure whether either has tried to learn.

  • Fun little uke, and absolutely tune-able (just takes a little patience)
Color: Red
This little ukulele has brought so much music to our home. I've subsequently bought two more as gifts. It IS in fact absolutely tuneable and has a good sound; it just takes some patience. When you tune it for the first time you will notice that the strings quickly slacken again and fall out of tune. Just give the strings a day or two to settle. Keep tuning it back up and once the strings have settled they will stay nicely in tune. I last tuned ours weeks ago and I just picked it up and it's still very close to being in tune. Of course, your kid will probably love to play with it regardless of how it sounds. I just mention this for the folks who were disappointed with the tuning. We taught my son to be gentle with the ukulele but it has still taken some knocks and is no worse for wear. On the other hand, my niece managed to bang hers in just the right way to separate the neck from the body of the instrument. It's definitely not indestructible and some of them might be assembled better than others. (Amazon very promptly replaced the broken instrument). Update Nov 2017: Recently it became very difficult to turn two of the tuning pegs. I was disappointed and thought that the gears were stripped. Then I realized we just had to adjust the screws on the back of the tuning mechanisms. I loosened them a tiny bit with a Phillips head screwdriver and the pegs are easy to turn once again. ... show more
