I bought these for my three-year-old grandson. They are they best quality and usability for a young child’s hands. The lettuce is a sturdy cloth that folds down into the slot of the bun with the hotdog on top. It’s amazing how it stays together but pulls apart easily. The hamburger is the same way. We got a plastic kid size play grill, but no food came with it. This was perfect! My three year old granddaughter loves it and grills near the real grill on holidays and when we gather. Hape products are awesome, especially this hamburger 🍔 and hot dog 🌭 set. It is very realistically made with wood, paint stays on and creative. The grand babies absolutely love it and to be honest I like playing with it with them. My only personal flaw is I don’t want to lose the pieces cause every single food makes the burger and dog.     • Great if you like wooden toys!
I have to say, recently we have gotten more into wooden and felt toys. We've even gotten some cute sets from etsy. I really like this one, but I have to admit my preference right now is with the felt toys. I actually wouldn't mind at all if this had been entirely made of felt instead of a combination of wood and felt, which admittedly, makes it a bit awkward to use at times. Fun set for little hands. This is better than the little tykes play food, easier to handle. Product texture let’s little hand put together a burger or dog without it sliding apart so easily as little tykes.
