You get what you pay for here. It’s a good little starter coop. We’ve got 4 chickens living comfortably in ours right now, but I’d say that’s maxed out. We did do some reinforcing before putting it outside like changing to heavier duty latches and hinges, and trimming the inside bottom with 2x4 just to sturdy up the structure as a whole. Again, great for a starter and has weathered a few storms well over the past couple months for us.

First of all, this aviary came a week earlier than estimated, so that was awesome. The product was easy to unpack and easy to assemble. The instructions were mediocre, but anyone who has assembled anything can figure it out. The aviary has a little bit of a rustic look, in my opinion, but I like it. If you are looking for sleek, smooth, polished-looking wood, this isn’t for you. I like that it has a large door and a small door, in case you have birds who like to make a run for it, which mine did, but that’s a story for another day. But now they are back inside and feeling bougie in their new habitat that is triple the size of their previous living space. I am extremely happy with this aviary, but I only gave it four stars because of two things. 1. There is no cage floor, which means when you slide out the poo-poo tray to clean it, the bottom is open for the birds to escape. I also like having a cage floor to keep the birds off the poopy tray. 2. There are only the two doors in the midsection of the aviary. Reaching for toys/perches/feeders up high and down low are hard to do unless you open the large door, which is how my bird escaped. Overall, this is a good product and definitely worth the price.

I bought this before it had any reviews because it was one of the very few options with a low ramp. Our rescue hen has trouble walking so jumping or climbing are basically no go's for her. I needed something that was low and easy for her to navigate to get inside, and this is perfect. The roof was a little tricky to get together properly. The run is a little small and iffy too. But we have this set up inside a bigger inclosure so our girls aren't cramped inside. We covered the run and hung their food in that area. We've had snow storms and rain and I haven't noticed any leaks. All in all, I would say this is great if you have 2 or 3 chickens. I wouldn't house more than that in there. How it would preform on its own against predators, I don't know.

This hutch was pretty easy to put together. You definitely need 2 people to do it. My bunny seems to really like it. It’s not the easiest to clean though. My bunny doesn’t always use his litter box so there are little poo balls all over and you have to move the entire hutch in order to clean under it. It’s nice and sturdy as well.

This cage is obviously made by someone very talented. Unfortunately, the material they use is not good. Whoever made it are not bird people. We have 6 parakeets but one got out of the cage when I open and feed the birds. Because there is no other way to get inside without opening that big door in the front. We only had this cage for a week but our Parakeets chewed the heck out of it already which will lead to more birds gone eventually. This cage is definitely not good for Pets that likes to chew on wood.

We had an urgent situation where we needed a second coop for a couple hens and this was the only thing that could ship soon enough. I am not sure I could recommend this coop for any use outside of an emergency. The roof is very difficult to assemble correctly. tTe flat portion of the cross-panel bars have to go to the top. That isn't apparent in the instructions. The roosting bars are too low, your chickens will sleep (and poop) in the nest boxes instead. The material overall is extremely thin and drafty. If you live in Florida, this may be okay for you. If you're in Chicago, forget about this and spend the money on an OverEZ. It could fit two, maybe four full sized hens if you have a much larger run or free range. I wouldn't stick one chicken in the timy run that comes with this. The ramp/door on the side is held shut by a joke of a splinter-like piece of wood. This is not at all a secure coop. A racoon or basically any predator could easily break in. I have this in a much larger secure run as an "emergency coop." Overall, my advice is to keep looking and pass on this coop.
