These are much lighter weight fabric than older Hanes jogging shorts. But on the plus side, they are very comfortable and cool when it is very hot outside.

These are super thin cotton shorts. The material is literally like a T Shirt. When I got them I initially scoffed about them thinking they'll suck. And ya know what? They're awesome. These are super comfy and awesome to sit around the house in. Going in on a second pair.

These shorts are light weight as advertised. However, they have no rear pocket in which to place a wallet. Front pockets are ok for keys and phone, but sadly no rear pocket limits their wearability outside of the home.

These shorts are very comfortable as sleep shorts. Having the pockets is nice for holding my cell phone when I'm walking around the house, rather than trying to tuck them into the waistband and hope it doesn't fall out. :-)

I waited almost a month to receive these shorts. Fabric is very poor quality and semi-transparent. Can not wear these out of the house. Not even good for pajamas. Returning them now.
