When she brings it back to her dorm she places it in a small plastic tub with a dish drying mat to catch all the water left on the items. She also really likes the fact that it's a soft carrier and not a hard plastic one where items can shift.

When you’re on the go and need to keep your items organized when you step into the shower, a shower caddy is a must. You just hook the caddy in place and everything you need is right there, within easy reach. A practical caddy for the task is this 7 Pocket Shower Caddy Tote from the Handy Laundry Store. Most shower caddies I have used have been made from metal/wire. These are still my preferred type of caddy for my home. But for travel and other times when you need to be mobile with your caddy, a product like this is better. It is made utilizing a mesh design and it has two handles so that you can easily carry it into the shower and hook it in place. The two handles serve as the hook. All you need to do is find someplace to attach it. With most showers, there is a single handle that controls the water and it’s usually pointed up, making it ideal for this purpose. You can hook it to the shower head also, provided it doesn’t slip off. It depends on the design of the shower head, of course. This caddy has seven pockets which is more than enough to hold your shower essentials. The best feature is the mesh design. It allows it to drain so that you don’t unexpectedly find water still in your caddy later. The caddies that feature a solid plastic design often do not have a means to drain. You have to empty the caddy, turn it upside down, and let it drain and dry. This is accomplished with little to no effort with this caddy. And because the mesh is see- through, you know what you’re reaching for. If you travel or if you’re student living in a dorm, a portable shower caddy can prove quite useful. This caddy from the Handy Laundry Store is a very good one for general use. It has more than enough compartments and it the mesh design helps it dry quickly. It makes a good back to college gift for students.

I bought this shower caddy to hold all my toiletries for a communal living space in college. It has a lot of pockets to hold bottles and products of all sizes easily. The mesh makes it easily storable and it dries quickly. The material also makes it easy to clean off as well. The handles are a nice touch for easy transportation and can also be used the caddy! It's last though all my college endeavors and I would definitely recommend anyone needing an item to store and carry multiple shower or bathroom supplies to invest in this one.

I bought this little caddy for my girls to go to church summer camp. I didn’t want anything too bulky, but also wanted something to hold all their belongings. It was the perfect size! Love all the little pockets on the outside & the larger one in the middle. We’ve only used it for one (5 day) trip, but based on how it feels, seems pretty durable. Folds flat for easy transport. It did come with a slight “chemical” smell when it was first opened, which I didn’t care for, but it eventually went away. Would purchase again! :)

update: seller offered a full refund. Will try to shop again since they made good. Do not recommend. I did not expect superior quality but nothing this bad. The mesh is so cheap I doubt if it would withstand everyday use. Going to use to store items under my sink.
