I am very pleased with my cane. The wood grain and blue color are so lovely as well as the silver Celtic knot accent. The wrist strap you are able to slip on is a helpful addition. Most importantly is the strength and comfort in my hand. The handle design has an ergonomic quality that feels good and the smoothness of the wood is extra nice to the touch. I was able to easily cut it to the size I needed (just off where your pockets sit on your hips), I actually had a local hardware store help me. I may order a larger rubber stop for the bottom, the one provided works just fine but I feel an option in size might be helpful. I am preparing for knee replacement surgery so walking is extremely difficult and this is a game changer! The thoughtful note about it being made in Ukraine during wartime touched the heart and I am happy to know I could support such s company. Thank you so much! ... show more

I have MS, and occasionally require the use of a cane while walking. I hate the look of the metal hospital-grade canes and wanted something with a little more class. With prices going into the hundreds of dollars for wooden canes, this seemed like a reasonable deal. This came disassembled, with the head of the cane separated from the shaft. It was packaged in a box, with some foam around both parts to protect them from damage during transit. The foam provided was definitely adequate to protect the cane, and it arrived undamaged. It was very easy to assemble, and it does not seem like the head will back out of the shaft. I was overall very impressed with the quality. Nobody is going to mistake it for a top-of-the-line cane worth hundreds of dollars, but it definitely seems to be more expensive than what I actually paid for it. I was so impressed with it that I bought a second cane from them, so I can have an at-home cane and an out-in-public cane. Finally, from a personal standpoint, this cane was made in Ukraine during the Russian aggression. I am happy to support a business from that country, and wish them all the best in pushing back the unlawful intrusion to their native land. ... show more

I got this cane for my Dad's 67th birthday. He was due to have hip replacement surgery and he said he needed a cane. He absolutely LOVES it! Let me tell y'all, my little brother accidentally slammed the cane in the truck gate, and it survived! With just a tiny scratch. My dad was very surprised. He walked into surgery this morning, with his cane. He said he loves the feel of it and how secure it holds him up. What makes this cane more meaningful, was it came with a note that said it was made in Ukraine during the war. I seldom write reviews but when I first held this little gem, I had to. I have been using canes to assist with my walking for many years. I have had wood and aluminum canes during that time. About 9 years ago I found a handmade solid wood cane that I loved. It lasted up until about 5 months ago. Since then I went through 3 cheaper ones. Then I found this. I Love it! I bought the cherry finish and it's beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments and people asking where I got it. I proudly tell them it's from a small family owned business in Ukraine that included a thank you card for supporting them through this difficult crisis. More than I wanted to pay for a cane but my previous ownership of a $30+ cane was a dismal failure because of chipping and wear of its cheap finish. So I guess that makes this one worth it. How does the accompanying strap fasten on? It’s elastic! That must be a clue to “hanging the cane on the back of a chair.” Impressive appearance and construction.
