This fitting really saved the day
Size: 1/2 in.
I had to change out a tub valve through a tiny 7 inch round opening . This fitting had 4 pipes: A hot and cold PEX, a PEX running to the shower, and a hard copper line running to the tub spout. All fittings were iron pipe thread into the valve. The PEX fittings will slip and rotate (with some difficulty) so I was able to unscrew them, and I was barely able to fit a mini tubing cutter around the copper to cut it. That's where this SharkBite fitting came in. With a bit of delicate attention to the end of the copper to make sure that it wasn't sharp, this fitting slid right over the copper and allowed me to tighten it into the valve body. Everything lined up like before and nothing leaked. This took all day, but that was due to the tiny opening that i had to work through. This SharkBite was the easiest to install (30 seconds) and everything is just as rigid as before. Well worth the money. My only concern was that there was a bit of solder on the pipe that I delicately filed off. After that I polished it off with 600 grit sandpaper to eliminate any possible remaining file marks. If there had been a solder bump or file groove, it is quite possible that would have resulted in a leak, since the sealing location point is to the outside of the pipe. In the end all worked out well, and I am satisfied.

Very easy installation except when using with sprinkler heads
Size: 1/2 in.
I used these fittings to add several sprinkler heads to my sprinkler system and found that mysteriously the new heads would not spray any water. I finally discovered that the water filters under the sprinkler heads were interfering with the water exiting the Sharkbite fittings. Once I added riser extensions, raising the sprinkler heads and their filters, my problem was resolved and everything is now working perfectly.

Real time saver.
Size: 1/2 in.
Put in new shower valve and used these and Sharkbite couplers to go from valve with pex and the Sharbite couplers to join pex to old cpvc. They worked well, the new Sharkbite Max don't have the insert sleeve which I now prefer. But these worked well. Yes Sharkbite products are expensive but I've used other brands and would often have to remove them and purchase Sharbites. So, now, I just complain and buy the Sharbites anyway.

Perfect solution to upgrade
Size: 1/2 in.
I have never been very adept at "sweating" copper joints. When my house was built in the early 80's, that, of course, was de rigeur for copper plumbing. My outdoor sprinkler system had many copper risers with sprinkler heads on them. When a particular sprinkler head failed, this shark tooth device made upgrading quite simple. Cut the pipe, slip on the fitting, place a new sprinkler head. Chik-Chak.

No leak!
Size: 1/2 in.
Most people suggest that the main reason they may well leak is an improperly reamed pipe which can damage the o-ring. Well, I was careful in my reaming and sure enough, the shark bite (under normal water pressure) is not leaking. Connected to copper. I'm a shark bite believer now.

Easy to install, sturdy, and leak-free
Size: 1/2 in.
I used this as part of an install of a new hose spigot for my backyard. It saved me from having to use a propane torch in an area just inches from the wooden joists in my basement's ceiling... Works great, no leaks!

Really Good
Size: 1/2 in.
I am amazed how easy this unit is to install and how well it works. As instructed, I paid attention to pipe preparation. The unit went on so easy I thought it was malfunctioning but it worked perfectly. Highly recommended, especially after having soldered too many copper pipe fittings in the past.
