The media could not be loaded. Instructions were better than I expected. You need to read them all the way through before attempting to use it. For example, how to raise the arm so you can thread the needle comes pages after it tells you to thread the needle. My biggest complaint is that you cannot reverse and sew over to lock your thread as you do with a regular sewing machine. You have to find the bottom thread and tie it in a knot manually. Not only is that a pain but pulling on the wrong side makes it all come undone, as shown in the video attached. I first thought I had received a used machine, but reading the last page explained that they thread it and test it before shipping it. Apparently required to do so by Amazon. Thumbs up. You will also find that there are NO reviews from the USA and most of the reviews are not in English. Other than the above, I am thinking it will work OK for me. I mainly want something to sew on new pocket bottoms to pants since my keys and other items wear holes in the pockets long before the pants or jeans wear out. This should work. I bought this to do little projects, unfortunately the product is not very sturdy. It tells you how to stop the stitch from unraveling but it doesn't work. Defiantly not worth the buy.

To be clear, this review is for the hand-held sewing machine. Also to be clear, it is not worth your time or money. I wanted to use a normal thread spool instead of the small bobbin and chose the extension shaft included in the kit. Aside from being too long for a standard size spool, it also would not stay attached to the machine and kept falling off, unraveling thread as it rolled away. Even without this problem, the machine is unwieldy to use and can handle only thin materials. You get what you pay for, and I knew the odds going in - profit from my mistake. ... show more

It was very cheap, I was never able to get it to work properly, the thread would break after two stitches. This is not a good product at all. It wasn’t even worth trying.

The machine seemed to be jammed when I took it out of the packaging - there was a piece of cloth stuck in it already, the thread tension wheel didn’t work, and when I put new batteries in it, the power button didn’t work.
