Wow, where to begin. What I like: Actually has some real Nintendo games on here. Mario, Mario 3, Contra, Super C, Ninja Gaiden, Life Force Sound works surprisingly well. Plays well for the few legit games it has. If the game existed as an 8 bit game or before, it seems like a decent rom. MK4, for example, was on the N64. Doesn't work. What I dont like: My biggest complaint, the screen. I tried playing Contra and Life Force for example and on several occasions, I died because I literally didnt see the projectile coming. The screen quality isnt great and when you combine that with the size of the screen and the basic of most of these are 8 bit or lower it doesnt create a great environment for classic games that are known for being difficult. Case is plasticy and I feel like if a game was challenging enough I might crush the whole console in my hand. Buttons arent very tactile, though they do work and are responsive. Game selection: The listing says 500, then 400 but also 500-800. Doesnt have any of those. A good chunk are duplicates. Id estimate it at around 250 or so. Contra 8, is I think Super C, but the game starts on level 4??? Mario 10 is Kung Fu Mario?? I mustve missed that one growing up. Street Fighter 20 is a futuristic platformer Mortal Kombat 4, might be Mortal Kombat 4 (graphics have been heavily dumped down) but I cant tell. Im not a MK guy. Oddly the controls are flipped, like left is down and up is start, and then once you manage to select your guy, it locks the console as soon as you get hit. Every time... Angry birds, is this 8 bit version and it runs horribly. I didnt test connecting this to a tv. They only provided an rca cable that's about 2 ft long and I dont think there is anything to be gained by trying to test. Completely impractical unless you have an older tv that happened to have a front side rca jack. Not HDMI as shown in the description.
