I Homeschool my son, our school is called, The School of Knowledge. He enjoys watching the number-block educational videos. I found a set on Amazon and bought it! He is so excited to own his own set of number blocks!! He put them all together mostly by himself! He needed a little bit of help to make sure the sticker faces were applied securely. Great set! I like that the stickers go on movable pieces so it's easy to move them to different blocks for playing. Fairly easy to snap the blocks together but tight enough they don't fall off easy. The episode guide cards are a good addition. The only issue I have is the stand the 0 numberling is supposed to use doesn't really fit. I used a drop of super glue and that seems to be fine. ... show more

Enough stickers and cubes are included to construct the tall and wide versions of each number. The included guide has activity suggestions that correspond to specific Numberblocks episodes and which have activity mats with illustrations appropriate for that episode. My grandson is a big fan of the Number Block show and he has been playing with the blocks for weeks and is learning math facts and concepts well beyond his age and grade level (kindergarten), so I have no regrets about buying them. The blocks are fine although some seem harder for him to snap together than others. He always has trouble with the skate board, and it's already broken. The stickers are a real disappointment for both of us. They don't stick to the blocks well, but stick to everything else, and they tear easily. This could have been addressed by including multiple pages of stickers instead of just one. Part of his enjoyment is matching the eyes, mouth, number piece, etc. to the pictures, but once they are lost, torn, etc. he is disappointed. A better design would be to print/paint the accessories directly on the cover pieces, or use better adhesive and attach them at the factory. They could still get lost or wear off but not as easily as these stickers. Selling or providing extra sticker pages would be helpful. Although the cards that tie in with the show episodes are a good idea, they have seen little use. The problem is that the information that goes with the cards isn't on the cards, it on a large sheet of paper (6 - 8 1/2 x 11 pages). Getting a 6 year old to use the cards, the instructions, and watch an episode just doesn't work for us. It might work if the instructions and information were printed on the card. I know it sounds like I have a lot of complaints, and I do. It's just that I think Number Blocks are great and my grandson is excited about math. My 7 year old is completely obsessed with number blocks so we got her this for Christmas. She is absolutely in love with it and has not stopped playing with them since she opened them. They are a toy that helps with number skills and are fun, especially children that love math and numbers. She can watch the number blocks cartoons and play along now.
