These Animal Handling Gloves Rock. I work with feral cats and agitated sick cats that can become aggressive. These are total hand and arm savers. I recently was bitten by a feral cat while wearing them. The bite hard enough to cause a slight bruise but the fangs never punctured threw the gloves. I highly recommend these if you work with feral or aggressive cats. You don't lose any mobility or dexterity thought they are cut on the small side. I usually wear a medium in gloves but the large fit purrfectly with just an extra bit on the end of the fingers. I was not solicited for this review it is my honest opinion. I hope it helps.

I purchased these for thorns on plants not for animal control. Very pleased with the quality of the gloves. Caution on your hand size as the the glove comes in one size only. I used the measurement information given in the product description. My hands are what I would call medium (+) mens size and somewhat slender the glove fits snug but comfortable...I like the fit and workability. The bottom line in my opinion: if you have large thick "construction hands" "workmens hands" these gloves will not fit you Keep in mind these gloves are made in Asia for a mass general market the glove comes in one size only. I like the product and don't mean to scare anyone off but in my opinion if you have large thick "construction hands" the gloves may not work for you. I like Amazon and the return policy so you can all send them back for a refund.

These gauntlets are wonderful! I wore them when I had to catch my feral cat in her cage to take her to the vet. She tried biting and scratching several times but never got through to my skin! They are soft enough to allow great mobility and lined with kevlar so even crazy momma cat's teeth didn't penetrate.

These were not as thick as I wanted I am giving them a 3 star because they are not a returnable item so I am stuck with them. I also purchased WINGOFFLY 23.6"Animal Handling Anti-bite/scratch Gloves for a few dollars more and they are perfect. I am a dog trainer and needed a bit more thickness for safety.

These gloves are used ALONG with a pair of cut-resistant liner-gloves to wrestle two large dogs (86 & 110lbs) who during rough play will chomp and bite your hands. They have held up wonderfully so far! We use them 3-4 times a week for about 15 min of very intense, rough play and hands are safe and sound. Pooches know when the gloves go on, it's wrestle mania! No bruises, nicks or cuts. Of course, you can still feel it when they take a big chomp, but no broken skin. Now, don't get all mad that we encourage bad or "aggressive" behavior, the dogs know that they are only allowed to be rough when the gloves are on!

Before the gloves, I had made several trips to urgent care over the past year for cat bites (a hazard of rescue). After the gloves, no trips, even when a cat chewed on the finger. Well worth the money!

Chihuahua tested and approved. These gloves are wonderful for handling small biting dogs and puppies. Also great for pulling up blackberry vines, haven't tested on thorns yet. You still feel the painful pressure from biting dogs but at least it doesn't break the skin. Love these so much, I gave my first pair to a friend and bought another pair. Highly recommended for crazy dog ladies.
