Yes, it gets the job done. It indeed sturdy so it doesnt bend when you try to eat into a very frozen chunk of ice cream. However, the edges on the handles are sharper than I thought. Like, not shar enough to cut you ofcourse but certainly not comfortable to hold. This product would be MUCH better if those edges were smoothed quiet a bit.

They arrived in a random box that is not the original for the set which is the reason for the start removal. They are not really heavy but does the job. The design was the sole reason for purchasing. We got silverware for our wedding, but it was dansk and that was about 30 years ago. What once was cool - to have these sleek Danish design items, works less well when you get older. So I gave those to my son and ordered some more. I like that these handles are easier to grip - not slippery - and that you can just put these in the dishwasher when they're dirty. I'm washing them all at first like it recommends before you start using them to eat, but am working through the set. Large spoons and forks, small spoons and forks, and of course knives. We didn't have any large forks or spoons in the set my son gave me in return (plastic ones from his college days) so I'm grateful to have a variety pack again so we can use certain spoons for ice cream, and others for serving mashed potatoes at the table. These are really lovely items and I'm so happy to have ordered them. Looks good, wash well, but I need to get some dishwasher chems so they don't get spots on them. The plastic ones were not so fussy. Still, very happy, and know my elderly relatives who come to our house for Christmas this year will enjoy the change. A+ awesome items.

If you are looking for a simple but high quality set of utensils, this is perfect! It is stainless steel and holds up well to repeated use and washing. There are no scratches or oxidation spots on the utensils after a month of use, and they come out very clean from the dishwasher. This is 8 full sets of two spoons, two forks, and a butter knife each. If you happen to have a large gathering, up to 8 people can all have matching silverware. This always adds a little proper touch to the dinner! Overall, this set is perfect. The pieces are understated with very little design features so they can easily match with most dinnerwear or dining room decor. The spoons and forks are very practical sizes which makes it easy to eat, and the knifes are sharp enough, especially with the high quality serrations, to cut through most foods. My favorite thing about this set is how simple the pieces are! They can be used every day for regular foods or can laid out at a dinner party for a uniform experience. They are perfect!

This was absolutely another WOW Vine product review. I recently got a fancy set and I have been looking for a general, every day set. So when I had the opportunity to order these I did. Now I'm thinking this will be my new fancy set and the other one for every day! PROS * this is a proper full set that includes main fork and spoons, knives, as well as the dessert spoon and salad fork. Most sets today have deteriorated to just a spoon and fork which is not appropriate or correct for proper table settings * incredible price of $29.99 for a full proper set * great quality - heavy without being cumbersome * beautiful handles * good size - the forks and spoons are not some ridiculously large size as I have seen many sets have CONS * none! This set is beautiful and priced perfectly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a proper set of cutlery for every day use or special occasions. This will look amazing on any table and would make a truly great gift!
