Purchased after getting the pink fleece swaddle so that we could have an extra however it became our nap swaddle because it didn't have a double zipper like the pink one did so getting her in and out in the middle of the night was annoying. It did help us transition our 3 month old from being swaddled with arms in to using more as a sleep sack with arms out. Would recommend if that's your plan of action to transition. ... show more

I am a retired postpartum doula and I have a passing acquaintance with every swaddle made. Halo was/is my favorite above all. Easy to get a sleeping baby in and out of. Lots of hip and leg room to keep the pediatrician happy. Easy to transition with when baby is outgrowing the swaddle but still needs the warmth of an extra layer. Long wearing. Very soft and warm for these colder months. Velcro keeps baby's arms in place perfectly. Dislike the new zipper. I have an older version in the NB size that my very large baby grew out of early, so I purchased this. The zipper is not the greatest. The old version zipped from the bottom and had a two way in case you wanted to leave the baby swaddled for a MOTN diaper change. This new version zippers from the chest only, so you can still have the MOTN access. However it only zippers from the top, which means if you have to get to the top for some reason (like a sleeper that only unzips from the top) or have to take your baby out in the MOTN, it is WAY harder to get back on, especially in the dark. You have to line up the zipper at the neck and hope you can get it without waking the baby too much. Sometimes requires more light ot two hands, which isn't always an option if you are trying to keep baby sleepy. Love everything else but poor design makes me wish I could return for the older version. LO has already used and spit up on, so I can't send back. I probably will not use as long as I did with my last baby, once the swaddle is no longer needed, we will switch to a sleep sack that has a better zipper. Disappointing as I like the ability to swaddle the body when baby can start rolling. And expensive for using just for another month before that happens. Recommend funding the older version or something different if you need to take baby out of the sleep sack at all during the night. ... show more

I had a small issue with my order, and customer service made it more than right. It's very difficult to find a company that goes so far out of their way for a single customer. That being said, these have been a lifesaver for my sister and her husband. Traditional swaddling takes a lot of practice for exhausted first time parents, and this takes the guesswork away. Her husband was already singing Halo's praises on day one home from the hospital. Baby G loves it too! 10/10 ... show more

Only thing that gets my baby to sleep!! The nice thing about the fleece one is that it holds my baby's arms in much more securely than the cotton one. My baby just turned 2mo (already 24in tall) and the 3-6 month is pretty roomy in the leg area but definitely wraps plenty tight enough. Happy he will be able to use it for awhile. ... show more
