Our 4 month old has always slept best when swaddled, arms by her sides. She's not rolling yet, but she was breaking out of her swaddle every night, multiple times a night, so we were reluctantly forced to move onto something else. We attempted some other "transitional" swaddle and had no luck. I then went into trying this one with little faith, but was shocked and SO HAPPY when our baby only woke once in the night (due to hunger - totally normal) on night 1 of wearing this swaddle. It suppresses her startle reflex and allows her to access her hands so she can soothe herself if she wakes. She no longer wakes in frustration! This swaddle is great quality - it's thicker than her previous swaddles so we only have her in her diaper in this swaddle. Changing her is easy due to the double zipper. Nursing her is easy because the swaddle is malleable and comfortable like a blanket. I've washed and dried it, and it's maintained its sizing and quality. I also love that she can sleep with her arms up, out, or down with full comfort. 10/10 recommend.

Loved this transition sleep sack for my baby. When she kept ripping out of her swaddles and was starting to roll onto her side, we decided to switch to this to help her sleep since she still had a good startle reflex. She slept in it so well until she outgrew it and we put her in a regular sleep sack. I’d recommend this to anyone interested! It wasn’t too hot like I was thinking as long as you stick to the TOG recommendations for clothing and the general temperature comfort for your own baby.

Our baby was in the Merlin sleep suit and started rolling so we needed to transition fast. Landed in this one and worked like a charm! It was thick enough to still muffle what was left of her moro reflex but thin enough to let her move around. We used for about a month before getting her into a normal sleepsack

We love this. We set our thermostat to 66° and use this as well as a onesie and footie PJs and baby is warm enough. This worked perfectly as a transition from a swaddle. It’s structured enough but allows for movement so she can safely roll. Super easy to put on, high quality zipper from the top and the bottom for easy changes. I love the quilted texture, though the fabric does get some pilling after washing. I ordered the size larger hoping that I would be able to use it for longer but ended up having to purchase the smaller size. She’s a smaller baby and was SWIMMING in it. This was on me — the size chart seemed accurate and I ignored it in the hopes I could make it work, but no. Follow the size chart.

This is a nice sleep sack. I like the thickness and it’s easy to out on. I think the sleeves do help somewhat but honestly our LO struggled with a variety of sleep sacks transitioning out of the swaddle. Nothing suppressed his Moro reflex like swaddling so we had a rough week of transition, but I have noticed he does better with sleeves. My one wish is that this was longer. We have other sleeved sleep sacks that we use more often because they are much longer and fit out little guys height better. Our LO is 5 months and pretty much reaches the bottom of this sleep sack.

My son started transitioning from swaddles to this sleepsack between 2.5 to 4 months. It was a great transitioning swaddle and he sleeps great throughout the night with it! Easily washable, zipper works great if needing to do a middle of the night diaper change, and very breathable for my son. He usually gets hot fast, but this does not make him too hot or too cold. Just right for him, and a good stretch to it too.

100% does NOT help reduce the moro reflex. Our 15 week old rolled over (both directions) and we can no longer swaddle. This is frustrating for us because swaddling saved our lives with sleep, up until now. Now he's discovering his hands and they (his hands) attack his face when we try and put him down, not to mention the moro reflex startling him awake. I loved this idea to transition to a regular sleep sack, but it gives his hands full access to his face (hand attack!) and he's repeatedly startling awake. I'm literally watching him right now trying to nap as I'm writing this. On a positive note, I do love the sleep sack idea and the warmth it provides without so many extra layers of clothes. I spent the money, so I'll keep trying. But as of right now, I wish the arms were weighted a little bit...
