This thing is amazing. I got a free Snoo bassinet from my employer but I hated it. I had a c-section so I looked up the brand bassinet that was used in the hospital and saw that it was a halo. Two of the things I really loved about the one in the hospital were: 1. It could swivel to me so I could pull the bassinet to me from the hospital bed, which was SO helpful while recovering from surgery. 2. The side of the bassinet is collapsible so I could pick up baby from the bassinet so easily. The weight of my forearms would collapse the side of the bassinet while I was picking her up - so I didn’t have to use my abdominal muscles at all. Some additional features this one has that I love: The sides are mesh so I don’t have to worry about baby rolling over and not being able to breathe if he face is against a side. The height is perfect for pulling over a bed. The bassinet basket is removable! We took it off of the base and brought it to a hotel so baby could still sleep in a familiar space. It has several sound and vibration settings. I love using the heartbeat sound for my baby. Helps her fall asleep. The size is good and as a bassinet, it is the most functional one I’ve had. I wish I had bought one for my first two c-sections. It is a bit on the heavier side - but only if you have to carry it around. If you keep it stationary next to your bed and just deal with the swivel function, it is a piece of cake! I love it and this is seriously one of the best items I’ve purchased post c-section. It is a worth every penny. Also highly recommend the halo swaddles. This company has got sleep down pat for babies!

Amazing bassinet. So convenient for night feeds, with the drop down side. Has music/vibrating feature. Swivels smooth and versatile. We used on lowest setting but could go high if need be. Pouch on side small but removable. Base is heavy and sturdy. Highly recommend, wish I had it for my older kids.

This bassinet makes me want to have another baby just to use it again! It’s so tall and actually comes onto the bed! We have a high bed with a thick mattress and very low to the floor, slight opening. The flat feet of the Halo still slides under it! It swivels, turns, bends. I just can’t say enough good things. Buy it! Hope you love it too!

Really like it BUT.. I wish the base was flat against the floor, seems a bit of a tripping hazard at first until you get used to it. I also with the basinet could go a bit lower to fit my bed better.

I was hesitant due to the price, but I absolutely love it!! Using this for my second child and it’s worth every penny. I had a bassinet/packNplay combo for my first sleeping beside the bed and this is night and day. Way less bulky and much more convenient. Measure your bed before buying. We have a sleep number i10 w/ adjustable bed frame, and this fits over the mattress when the head is flat and at a slight angle. I can swivel it beside the bed if I need my bed adjusted higher for nighttime nursing.

My husband and I love that you can see into this bassinet to easily keep an eye on baby. The swivel feature makes it easy to move when sleeping and doesn’t wake up baby. Our baby sleeps very well in this bassinet and doesn’t wake often throughout the night. The only issue, the legs stick out very far on this and I’ve tripped over them countless times. Be mindful of the legs and try to set up bassinet away from common walkways.

The media could not be loaded. *Updated**** After doing a lot of research for the best bassinet/crib for our newborn we found the Halo bassinest. I really wanted to love this bassinet, it looked perfect for us. We wanted something to co sleep in the same room but that would be safe and that baby could have his own space while being close to us. Well, my baby hated the halo since the beginning. Before he was born when we assembled the bassinet we noticed the net had some holes so we contacted customer service, they sent a new net without holes. We also noticed the mattress was extremely thin and lined with a cotton fabric, not waterproof, so we were disappointed but hoped for the best, of course eventually the mattress got dirty and we could only do spot cleaning. When baby arrived he instantly hated the bassinet. I think he found it uncomfortable. We tried several times but he woke up instantly or 20/30 minutes after being lay down. We persisted until we noticed that every time we brought down the bar it would make a squeaky noise that woke up the baby. I love the concept of a rotating crib that comes close and a bar that you can lower to make picking up and putting down easier but the execution of the item is mediocre and the quality suboptimal. They need to upgrade the material of the net (which eventually also got holes), correct the mechanics of the lowering bar and make a firm mattress that is more comfortable, thicker and waterproof!! Babies drool, vomit and pee/poop, the mattress needs to be able to be cleaned!! On the positive side I liked that you can adjust the height which worked great for our tall king bed and that you are able to detach the bassinet and carry with you to another room. Those are great features. We eventually ended up using a regular crib and ditched the halo. It sucks because this item was not cheap and it feels like a waste of money. *update*** After talking with customer service they addressed my concerns and were very helpful accepting a return of the bassinest. I’m adding one more star because of the great customer care, they were very understanding and reasonable. I hope my model was a malfunctioning one and that that’s not the case for every product.
