I have used a regular swaddle in the first week after birth, velcro swaddle thereafter and finally now I switched to halo size S at almost 3 months. Velcro swaddle has been great till now but You can definitely use halo 3 way directly instead of spending extra money on other swaddles coz you can either swaddle them or use it as sleep sack. I will start by saying I LOVE this swaddle blanket. I typically use regular muslin swaddles and I like them, but my baby has gotten really active and eventually pushes his way out of them every time. I have tried regular Velcro swaddles and they never feel quite right and the ones I have are bulky. This thing is so soft and breathable and cozy! Right now I’m using it as an arms in swaddle and as soon and I strap baby in he’s so comfy and falls asleep. It’s easy to zip up even in the dark. Easy to pull the zipper up for diaper changes. It is loud when you have to open the Velcro, but that’s Velcro, what can you do. I love that when he’s ready to start having arms out he can still use this too! Highly recommend. ... show more

Best purchase ive made in a LONG time My only regret is not buying sooner !!! The days of my daughter lifting the blanket swaddles over her face are LONG GONE! I was so hesitant to buy this. My 5 week old was only sleeping about 1.5 to 2 hours at a time and was breaking out of her swaddle routinely. The first night we used this she slept for 4 hours straight. She's continued to sleep better and hasn't escaped the wrap yet. Also, for reference, my daughter is about 9.5lbs and 20in. Got this swaddle when our son reached about 13lbs and got the 3-6 month size (he’s two months but big). Over all it’s a nice product but it’s so stretchy that I got stretched out trying to wrap it tight after only a week or two of use. We will probably go back to using it when he gets a little bigger but needed to find something else right now.
