My baby boy is a hot sleeper so I wanted a sleep sack that wasn’t so heavy. It was great and all until after washing it a couple times (and it was as directed on the tag) and it sheds so bad on his pajamas. His others never did that. This is great for little ones who like to use their hands to self soothe. It’s nice and light weight so I can still have her in footed pajamas overnight. Must have washed this at least 20 times and it stayed in good shape before she grew out of it. Got her the next size up and will continue to use these. Saw some had issues with the zipper. I had 0 issues with it. I don’t have the need for a double zipper with this so that was never an issue. I wash this on a regular wash cycle with cold water and Dreft. No holes where the zipper is and I always wash it with the zipper open. Worth the money to have a safe sleep option for the baby. ... show more

    • Slightly scratchy fabric and difficult zipper
I have had many halo sleeps sacks for both my daughters, probably about 10 by this point. This one I was expecting to be like the other muslin ones I had a couple years ago but this one is scratchy and only 1 layer of fabric. It is good for being breathable for summer. Just definitely a different quality than my previous halo muslin swaddle. I wouldn’t have purchased if I realized this. It also has a zipper that you can only zip from the top down. My other one that’s a different material but still halo has the double zipper which is so much better that part could have been my error in not reading the description correctly. However I just thought that they would have been now making all their sleep sacks with the better zippers. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was looking for
This is our 4th Halo muslin sleep sack and I love them all!! It’s a must for the summer months. I always have my daughter in a sleep sack naps and bedtime. I just like the idea that there is something on her back even if it’s thin. I never had issues of them ripping other than along the zipper seam which basically the threading came undone on one of them and it was a super easy run it through the sewing machine fix. Other than that, no issue. We tried to go w.o a sleep sack tonight, but she was insisting on she have it on. So, safe to say it’s toddler approved. I would also stick to the right side. I tried to order a size bigger to try and save some $ but the neck size was way to large, so I quickly ordered the proper size. ... show more

Works great. Just wish it had a little stretch to it. I feel like it would be a bit more comfortable when she is moving around in her sleep but other than that it is a great sleep sack for the summer months.

    • Lightweight, cool design. Frustrating zipper
This is our favorite sleepsack because it is hot where we live and this is a very breathable muslin fabric. The only issue is that unlike the other one we purchased in regular cotton, this one only has one zipper. You have to connect it at the top on a squirmy baby and then zip down. The other versions have two zippers so you always zip from the bottom to get it on, but then can also unzip from the bottom for diaper changes. ... show more
