The concept was great. Problems occurred when I tried to assemble the parts with the light string provided. The little stickers that "glue down' the light string to the back of the cardboard stuck to lots of things other than the lights and cardboard (my fingers, the craft table, etc) I tried just to use the provided materials, and the whole thing came apart after one night on the garage door. I took the entire thing indoors and re-did the lights with the remaining sticky tags and a hot glue gun. Unfortunately, the whole thing came off the garage door AGAIN the next day. The battery case may have been too heavy to attach to the cardboard on the cat). The magnets did not stay affixed to the garage door. I knew it would be smaller than shown in the image because I reviewed the size dimensions. It was a lot smaller than the garage door picture that was included. I may take the whole set and set them up on stakes in the yard. At least then they wont fall off the garage door again. ... show more

Flimsy for a windy place. Did look cute while it lasted, needed a more sheltered location. Great value for the price. I kept it for next year. It comes apart, and packs flat-important!

Cute but not as big maybe 30inchs at tallest comes in 6 pieces easy to use lights are bright but they are on a white wire so they show up way more should have been on black wire then could have hid them better

The only things I was able to keep from this were the magnet hooks and the strand of lights that ended up being used elsewhere. After spending an hour putting the pieces together and applying the glue dots, I put the decoration outside on my garage door. The magnets worked well, but the pieces were falling apart after 10 minutes because the glue melted in the 80 degree weather. I couldn’t get the lights to stay on or the pieces attached to the stakes used to connect them. You could probably use duct tape to keep everything in place, but after spending all that time on it over and over, I just got annoyed and threw it away. Don’t waste your money, but more importantly, don’t waste your time. I’m giving this 2 stars because I’ve made use of the magnets on my fridge. And as advertised, the black pieces are actually waterproof. So if you can get it to stay attached, I’m sure it would look nice with outdoor decorations. ... show more

I thought this was going to look really cool put together, but unfortunately it was a waste of money. They give you sticky dots to apply the purple lights on the back of the cut out like on the picture. It took me a good 20ish mins to get it all put together. It took 5 mins for all the lights to fall off the sticky dots. Pointless and waste of time. It's possible to maybe hot glue the lights on? The lights are a really vibrant purple though. ... show more
