The pond kit is a nice way to go for those of us who don't have the time and expertise to figure out all of the parts and pieces necessary to build a pond. The kit contains great quality products from reputable vendors. There were two things that I'd improve on. 1) Make sure the PVC assembly for the check value is glued together straight. Mine was crooked and my pump doesn't sit flat on it's end when everything is hooked up. 2) the hole in the skimmer box for the flexible PVC wasn't large enough for the flexible PVC to go through and match up to the check valve assembly. Maybe I just didn't understand what you wanted me to do since there wasn't very good instructions included. I made it work by enlarging the hole. Looks like it will work OK. ... show more

Great quality products, love the finished product. We had never done this before and we were able to accomplish it! The only problem we had was that the tubing for the system was bigger than the opening in the skimmer so we had to cut and file it to make it bigger to fit which was difficult and time consuming but managed to get it to fit eventually. ... show more

All are good quality products, except the skimmer, seems little thin, not a heavy plastic. The main concern for me is, They missed to send me underlay and had to wait for another week, my fishes were in temporary holding tank, they suffered poor water quality, lost one fish during that time. I mentioned that few times, they still took time to process. Also, the outlet hole in the skimmer is for 1.5 inch tube, but supplied tube is 2 inch and pump fittings also for 2 inch, so I had to order a whole saw to make the whole bigger and order a 2inch 90 elbow. So installation is probably not very straight forward as one might expect. ... show more

Kit had everything you need for a pond except rocks. 20x30 kit ordered We used 6 tons of large river rocks. 3 tons of a type of fieldstone (thin & thick) and 1 ton of boulders. Hole size is 21x13.. Best to watch videos if it is your first attempt at a pond (like us). Seems the check valve has quit after a couple of weeks, maybe something got in it. Have not taken it apart to check. Thought I would add some pictures. They have changed the skimmer & waterfall since I ordered this a year ago. Update after 1.5 years. If you have a lot of leaves around, you may want to skip the rocks on the lower ledges. We had to remove lower tier rocks when cleaning last year. Another good idea if you intend to pump it out to clean it, leave a low spot for a sump pump to fit in (when cleaning). You could just rinse/pressure wash everything into the low spot. (1 or 2 foot square) ... show more

This is absolutely wonderful kit. It has nearly everything you need to complete and amazing pond. When it arrived I noticed that there were several things missing. I called the phone number and immediately got a live human being to speak to. No phone tree and was never put on hold. John, was very helpful, apologetic AND knowledgeable. He let me know that one of the pre-made packets was not included and immediately sent it. He was able to answer the few questions I had and was a delight to work with. I would use this company again. Very professional. I am pleased with the product too. (Three cans of foam isn't even close to enough for the project so make sure you order more. I used 10 cans but I had a couple of 3 foot walls and wanted to make sure the rocks were locked together and had no chance of coming loose. Also, I wish 3 more lights with a pond this size.) ... show more

5 Stars for quality of the product and how quickly they responded to my notification when a couple of items weren't in the kit. Funny, 1 representative called me back after hours and kindly took care of me quickly and completely, another called back and was a little grumpy. This is one industry that is booming because of Covid so they were on overload. As expensive as it is they were definitely cheaper than anywhere else i saw. We bought this pond kit and absolutely love our new pond. This kit had everything we needed to build the perfect pond. We did buy a few extra fittings and the backwash drain kit seperate.
