  • Thick and Realistic Wig!
Color: Blonde with Black Roots
I'm completely new to wearing wigs, so I'll admit I've had a bit of a learning curve with this one! When I first took it out of the box I honestly wondered if I would be able to get it looking right, and even considered sending it back. Instead, I decided to keep working with it, and I'm glad I did. I've been watching wig-styling tutorials and learning that there is definitely a little more to wearing a wig than simply taking it out of the box, and putting it on. Most need some adjusting, styling, and possibly a little curling and trimming, to get the look you want, and make it work with your head and face shape. The first thing I noticed about this wig is how thick and full it is. There is a LOT of hair. The hair feels nice and silky, and the wig appears to be well made. I also really like that the part looks quite realistic. I don't think the hair looks especially "wiggy", although it does have some shine. I saw a tip in one of the tutorials, about using dry shampoo to tone down the shine, and make the hair look more natural, so I plan to try that. I'm going to cut the bangs myself, and will probably take just a tiny bit off the length once I get more comfortable styling it. For now, I'm treating this as my practice and learning wig, and it has actually made me really excited to start wearing wigs. My own hair has become very fine and thin, so I love the idea of being able to have fuller hair and change up my style whenever I want. You can try different lengths, styles, and even colors without committing to a permanent change. I'm still learning, but I'm getting there! I'm hoping that with a little practice, I'll be wearing this one soon. Based on the quality, fullness, and how realistic looking this wig is, I will definitely be purchasing another wig from the Haircube brand! ... show more

  • DARK BLONDE X MIXED BLONDE
Color: Mixed Light Blonde
Since I can’t leave two reviews for different wigs, I’m updating my previous NEGATIVE review of the MIXED BLONDE wig to a 5-star POSITIVE review of the DARK BLONDE WIG, which comes in the same layered cut and length of the mixed blonde yet it’s far better quality - go figure! Note that my original (negative) review dates back to 2022. This updated (positive) in from June of 2026. If you’re considering these two shades, I’d say “Go for the DARK BLONDE!” I attached a picture here of me with two of our US Army heroes - who came in their awesome Blackhawk chopper (along with other soldiers) to visit ‘our’ church’s homeschool kids & parents yesterday. While I don’t recommend the mixed blonde, Haircube certainly got it right with the dark blonde shade, which unlike the mixed blonde, came well packed in a box and in perfect shape + ready to be worn. I didn’t even brush it as I was in a hurry but while there was a breeze when I took that selfie pic, this wig held up pretty well under heat and wind. The cut around the bangs is far better than the previous mixed blonde wig, which I also got from this seller! For those buying the mixed blonde, I do NOT recommend this wig - although mine could’ve been a “defective fluke”, I’ve tried buying the mixed blonde more than once and it still came poorly packed, with hair and threading defects, and poor construction especially around the bangs, where there were black threads showing against the lighter blonde hair! For those shopping for dark blonde wigs, I’d definitely encourage you to try this one. Although the length of the bangs might not suit every facial/forehead contour, just like in human hair, wigs can be trimmed. I’ve purchased two of these wigs and both came in perfect shape. I just ordered another one of the dark blonde and will update this review in case it’s any different in quality. - update on the third wig (July/2026): sadly, the top hair was bulging and bangs cut wasn’t as nice. Rarely I find the bangs in these wigs ideal. It’s usually too long or the cut shows the wig cap on the forehead middle line, which is awful. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case with the Dark Blonde! Just look at the picture so you can see what I’m talking about. I’ve been wearing the first wig for close to a year now and it’s still in pretty good shape. Although the line between the bangs tends to “cripple” with time — but then again, considering the price, that’s to be expected. Dark Blonde Pro’s: COLOR: beautiful blended highlights that look very natural. HAIR TEXTURE: very smooth, easy to brush and care for with no “fried hairs”, even after coming in contact with sweat. LENGTH: Just as described and perfect for what used to be my long natural hair. STYLES: this wig is easy to tie back with elastic bands as well as with “claw” clips and obviously, it can be worn with hats, head scarves, bandanas, etc. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and folks often tell me that they don’t notice it’s a wig until I tell them so! Get the DARK BLONDE! It’s beautiful! ... show more

  • Most people think this is your natural hair
Color: Ombre Mixed Brown
I buy this ombré brown/blond wig due to hair loss. The first time I put one on I almost died laughing. Then, I tried it on again and messed with it some until I felt comfortable with the way it looked. There is definitely a lot of hair in these wigs but I really like the color and the highlights look natural. First thing to know is how to care for them. 25 wigs later….I learned the hard way. Don’t rip through it with a brush to get the tangles out. It breaks the strands and stretches them. They get kinky and begins to look like straw. Comb lightly through the tangles or even use your fingers to comb through the knots. When you wash it, lay it in a light sudsy bath and massage it a little and let it sit. When you’re ready to rinse - use cold water and lay flat to dry. I used to use a wig hanger but I found laying it flat was much better and the hair came out super soft. I use dawn dishwashing liquid and rinse well - no color loss and it smells great. Don’t comb through wet hair - it stretches the fibers. After several weeks of constant wear, the wig will begin to get dry and frizzy. After trying countless wig sprays but not finding one that really worked well, I decided (out of desperation) to try something drastic, I used my steam iron on it. It was amazing, I sectioned the hair, sprayed some water on it, re-brushed it and ran the iron to the ends and it literally got rid of all the kinks and frizzies. However, the hair is now poker straight but it fixed the strands like they were new. I’m going to try my curling iron on it to give it some wave but I’m happy. I was ready to toss several out before using the iron. The bangs, the less you mess with them, the better. I’ve had a perfectly lovely wig end up in the trash because I kept trimming the bangs. Thing is, some respond well while others don’t. When long, the weight of the strand lets it lay naturally, cut it and it wants to fly away. When I just work with the wig and don’t cut too much it looks great for a long time. Once in a while you get a magic wig, it looks fantastic from the min you put it on and you could toss it in a heap, shake it and put it back on and it looks great. Then there are the ones that are the exact opposite. No two are alike. Last thing, after wearing these wigs for a bit, the fibers begin to kink and separate and knot easily. Before you know it that wig looks like it doubled in thickness. It already has more hair than it needs and the way I combat that is turning it inside out and trimming every other rung of hair down one section then starting one rung up on the next section I do the same thing. I trim a good 45% of hair that way. Just alternate and don’t start too close to the cap. You won’t miss it. The first time I went out in public I was convinced everyone knew it was a wig - found out no one knew. It looks pretty realistic. Someone who wears wigs might know but the average person doesn’t have a clue. Just have fun with it and find a style that works for you. ... show more

  • BEYOND DISAPPOINTED
Color: Blonde
Based on all the great reviews & all the photos of women who purchased this wig, wearing it, I felt confident in purchasing this. Due to a combination of reasons, I've found myself basically bald with sparse patches of hair. I've been trying to use tape-ins with what little hair I have left but due to more baldness than hair, it's difficult to get a realistic look. Therefore, I thought I'd try a wig as it would be easier to maintain as well as allow my natural hair to grow back in without the stress of tape. From all the reviews & photos this wig appeared to be very realistic looking, simply based on all the photos shared by other women wearing it. I was so excited when this arrived today, the color was great, then I tried it on. I'm beyond clueless on how this could be the same wig shown in the photos. There is zero chance of this wig I received ever looking realistic simply due to it having more hair than is ever humanly possible, in addition saying this wig is lightweight is a joke. The wig in the photos show women wearing it behind their ears, in clips, doesn't appear to be too thick, etc. This wig I received looks like a mop with so much hair you can't do anything with it. Seriously there is so much hair that to put in a pony tail, it's a little over an inch in diameter - extremely unrealistic. My only hope is to try and figure out how to thin it out some. ... show more

  • Cheap but decent
Color: Dark Brown
I purchased this after losing all my hair due to chemo. The color and length are good. It feels a little chunky and thick however, and took me awhile to figure out how to put it on properly. But after Brushing it out well, it began to lay down better. I like it as a cheap option to add to the collection. Also The front part at the forehead /hairline is very itchy to me. ... show more

  • Wow! A Lotta Wig For Not A Lotta Money
Color: Ombre Mixed Brown
Omg...I Seriously cannot believe how AMAZING this wig looks on me for under $30. So here's the deal. I just turned 68, and I have been under a mind blowing amount of stress lately. I'm my 92 yr old mother's POA, I have crippling arthritis (I am in a wheelchair) and my husband has cancer. So now, with all that plus a few other things...I really needed a pick-me-up. I decided to treat myself to a lovely wig since now my hair is falling out, thanks to bad genetics for hair loss on both sides of the family (and the stress). When I found this wig, I immediately loved the photo, but I told myself not to expect much since the price was so low. I just wanted to see what $26 and change would buy me. Was I ever shocked! These tresses look very natural. And I am super PICKY. Overly critical. Skeptical. Especially about wigs. Because if you wear a wig, there's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. You're putting yourself out there for all the world to see. But when I put this on, I immediately yelled WOW! I couldn't contain myself. My mind was sufficiently blown. For under 30 dollars!! I LOVE the weight of these tresses...it feels like healthy, beautiful hair. I LOVE the cut...it falls so perfectly across my shoulders and down my back. I LOVE the way it makes me feel...like a million bucks. :) So if you are thinking about taking the plunge, give it a try. I bet you'll truly love this wig. In fact, I now own 2 wigs by this company. For the money, are you kidding me? Why not?? :) I highly recommend. Hey, you can always send it back if you hate it (you won't). Like they always used to say on those old tv commercials...Why Pay More?? For real. Buy it. ... show more

  • Nice budget wig, minimal tweaks
Color: Brown
Really happy with this wig! I have some name brand wigs but wanted to see how I looked with brunette before buying a more expensive one. Getting bangs was the easiest so I don't have to deal with lace. The fibers feel nice and they responded well to styling. The hair is thick but manageable. The scalp was perfect for my skin tone, so I didn't need to do much. Here's what I did do: 1. Applied L'Oreal blurfection setting powder (translucent) to take out the shine 2. Shook it upside down 3. Sprayed with synthetic leave in conditioner to help with static and tangling 4. Trimmed those bangs! I point cut the whole thing starting from the center outward 5. Used a round brush and blow dryer to set the bangs and take out some of the crazy c-curve in the lengths. I am really happy with the end result, I feel like Rory Gilmore. I'll just need to deepen my eyebrows and a bit of sideburn blonde that peeks through with makeup when I wear it. I think even right out of the box it would have been super cute for an elf costume or something. Photo is a before and after, out of the box and then with tweaks. ... show more

  • Needs to improve the consistency
Color: Ombre Brown
I have purchased this wig about 6 times now since the wear on this goes fairly quick from everyday use. I felt this wig was not consistent in quality. A few times I was very pleased, and the other times I was truly disappointed. As for the good, I liked the color and layered length. As for the bad, I found some of the wigs to be thicker or sometimes thinner. Sometimes they would be longer and sometimes they would be shorter. Also towards my most recent purchases, I found them to have these very short, tiny bent hairs that would stick straight up from the wig that were close to the hairline and were very noticable. I even tried to pluck them out , but it only made it worse. I'm truly disappointed since I really liked this wig in the beginning. Now, I don't think I will ever purchase it again, especially after giving it a few chances in hope of it being the same as my first purchase shorter ... show more
