Can’t believe I didn’t know about these sooner! I don’t see the need to replace my glasses now. My original nose pads were bad and made me start to dislike my glasses. This is definitely affordable if your nose pads are starting to look dirty (or are). The grip definitely feels better and I don’t have to keep pushing my glasses up. The supplied screwdriver set is totally useless, but the screws do fit and the soft pads are very soft and comfortable. If you have a fine screwdriver of your own to use, this is a very good buy.

A person could become horribly frustrated (probably explains the bad reviews) without a good light and a magnifier. The first picture is looking through an LED lighted magnifier on a stand. It is my “go to” for everything that needs magnification: lace knitting, ripping out rows without dropping or twisting stitches (blush-it happens), replacing my watches’ batteries, etc. The other aid is Scotch tape (see second picture). Taping the new nose pad in place leaves you two hands to put in the teeny tiny screw. And the tape keeps your new nose pad from shifting just a bit which WILL keep you from being able to set and screw in the little screw. Trust me: I struggled for about 20 minutes, thinking with each try that THIS TIME I would surely get that tiny screw in place. When I finally got up and got the tape dispenser (Scotch Magic for easy removal after the job is done), the screw was relatively easy and a piece of cake to screw into place with the little screwdriver included. I sat on the bed and worked with a 3-ring binder covered with a terrycloth dish towel as my table. The towel traps the screw when one drops the screw or it falls out of the hole. Hoping this helps others. I buy my glasses from Zenni online and they are a FRACTION of the price which the optometrist charges. The downside is that Zenni sends their glasses in a horrid, unusable plastic case and one is on one’s own when the nosepads break off. Now that I’ve got the job cracked, that problem is no longer a problem. And hopefully will not be for others either. ... show more

    • Perfect cushioned Zenni nose pad replacement
I had the cushioned nose pads from Zenni Optical and really liked them since it feels less harsh on my nose. But the other day when cleaning them (after just 2 months of owning these glasses), one of them broke. There's a weak point on the back of the silicone where the nose pad connects to the silicone screw attachment. So I ordered these! I can say, they definitely are very similar in shape, style and size. I think they're slightly smaller than the Zenni ones but not by much. Which, if anything I appreciate since the Zenni ones were pretty large. I like how this pack comes with a ton of spares + a couple of non cushioned nose pads + tiny screws and a small screwdriver. Glad I don't have to return my glasses now or try to deal with support! ... show more
