A lightweight hiking shoe developed with our PROOF™ Eco membrane technology. Made with a breathable mesh and a waterproof finish. It is also part of our L.I.M range, where weight is kept at an absolute minimum, but without sacrificing a peak of performance or durability. When cleaning Haglöfs shoes, it is important to use a soft sponge under a stream of warm running water. Dry shoes with towel or dry cloth at natural temperature. Do not resort to external heat source or direct sunlight. Direct heat may alter the shape of the footwear. The shoes should never be cleaned in the washing machine. For maximum comfort and maintain the best temperature on the feet, clean the inside of the shoes occasionally with a soft brush and warm water. Remove the insole before washing the shoes. To speed up drying, fill each of the slippers or boots with newspaper paper and let it absorb most of the moisture before taking it out and let the garment dry. Regardless of whether you clean the interior or exterior, make sure that the shoes dry at room temperature and never use a heater or a drying cabinet (excessive heat could cause the leather to crack, for example). The best way to store clean footwear is at room temperature with a stretch. Never store dirty shoes. Before the first use, it is best to give the boots and shoes a waterproofing treatment, including the laces and the entire tongue. It is best to treat the clean surfaces of boots and shoes with a waterproofing agent for synthetic materials. There are many different waterproofing agents and waxes on the market for different types of footwear and applications. Ask your dealer tips and instructions for the specific boot or shoe you've purchased. Tip: Wear pure wool or wool/synthetic blend socks for optimal foot temperature. The socks made of these materials help maintain a good temperature in the feet inside the shoes as they let moisture through much better than cotton. Moisture can help create chafing, cold feet and in extreme cases even athlete's foot.
