I purchased this for my 12 year old for Christmas. Unfortunately he has tiny fingers and was unable to wear it. After eight months he is finally able to wear it and it not fall off. He has worn this for about four days and likes it. After hearing from others that the gold rubs off I make sure he takes it off when in water or using his hands alot. This ring looks really cute right out of the package. It's on trend. It fits true to size. I would say it's priced appropriately. By which I mean, at this price point, don't expect amazing quality. I'm kind of a creature of habit, so once I put a ring on, it stays on for awhile. I've worn this ring continuously for a month. It is beat up. It's scratched all over and the finish is starting to rub off around the circle part. It's silver underneath, by the way. So if you like the style of this ring, I suggest getting the silver version off the top. Skip the gold one. I like this ring, despite the fact that it's not very durable. It's still cute, even though it's all scratched up. It hasn't turned my finger green after a month of solid wear. In the $10-15 dollar range, I feel that's where the bar is. Would I recommend it? Maybe not the gold one, because the finish is rubbing off. But the style? Sure. ... show more
