It arrived compact, but after about 24 hours, it expanded enough to fully fill the space I bought it for. We bought the 5ft version of this bean bag chair, and it has instantly become the most popular spot in the house. Our two big dogs (150 lbs and 120 lbs) claimed it the moment it hit the floor, and honestly, I can’t blame them. It’s incredibly comfortable. I sat down “just for a minute” to take a break and ended up dozing off for four hours! The chair is easy to refluff and gets perfectly poofy again with just a quick shake. The removable cover is a huge bonus—super easy to take off and wash, which is essential when you share your furniture with giant, lovable dogs. I even put a king‑size blanket over it so I don’t have to wash the cover as often, especially with two giant pups lounging on it daily. I’m already planning to buy another one because none of us want to give up our turn. If you’re on the fence, just get it. This bean bag is absolutely worth it and has officially become the best seat in the house.

It puffed up within 24 hours, is incredibly soft, and is large enough for an adult to enjoy comfortably (we got the 4ft). The cover goes on and off easily for washing. Really great purchase for us!! It sure is a big bean bag, I see a lot of people on the review page complaining about the smell and weird feel but when I got mine it didn't smell like anything, still washed the cover of it cuz ya never know where stuff like thats been but all the same it's likely just dependant on where the bag is shipping from, the chair is comfortable, im 6'5 and while I can't have all the space in the world if you have a wall behind you to lean up against it's a great place to sit. Only complaint is the feel of the inside of the bag at times, the memory foam cushion allows the bean bag to kindda keep its shape but it's more a conept that sopmething to actually stick around, it feels like the foam stick and lumps together and that I have to push the foam away from itself to make it feel like its not clumping around the bag. But that could be something that is fixed over time as the bag might still be expanding, it was shipped in an airtight cube of foam that was like a 4 the size of the bag itself and I only got it 3 days ago so maybe its still getting used to having some space to breath. All in All I think it's mostly good, but not perfect.

Really enjoyed this chair but the foam was an issue. It came in a thin plastic bag that you had to dump inside the chair. This made a huge mess! Because the foam wasn’t in its own bag to stay in you couldn’t remove the liner for washing. We ended up only keeping it for a few months because we were unable to deep clean and it just looked like a mess. Was comfortable and the kids loved it until we had to get rid of it. But if a bummer

It's huge. Unwieldy huge. You can fall asleep in it huge. It's heavy and almost doesn't fit through bedroom doors. It's very full. It's a statement piece and takes up a large amount of space. I think it's a commitment piece, as in...it's not for a toddler. If you get this, you're committed to the bean bag. You're not going to 'toss it in the closet' when guests come over. If you need to move this, you need 2 people and a plan.
