Day one, initally install lol I am writing the main part of this on Oct 6th. I intend to update as I use it. - it was challenging to install, but it should be easier next time. it was MUCH easier than pulling off the actual slip cover on the original couch. I did a "fast" cursory job of it and did not make much of an effort to smooth or tuck anything in the photo. I figure that I want it to "wear" well or whats the point. [My couch actually is a slipcover (all the fabric comes off and I can wash it. It looks great after I wash the slip covers, but with two pups and paw prints I needed something easier to deal with besides taking 3 hours to soak and wash and put the original covers back on. Plus the all day affair wore me out!] My initial thoughts and questions: *Does it look like a slip cover and be distracting? No I don't think it will be obvious at all. HINT: anything with texture, diamonds or a pattern will be distorted when stretched or adjusted - it would be like wearing a shirt with the pattern skewed - I made sure to find a cover that would not show where it was stretched or what angle I placed it on the couch. This one WINS. *Will it wash well? *will it hold onto pet hair horribly? I mean it is what it is so thats not my biggest concern. *Is it water /"liquid" resistant? NO not at all, but neither was my couch and its not an issue. I have considered putting pee pads *under* the fabric just in case. (my pups sometimes pee when excited) *Is it slippery or does it tug when I get i and out of the the couch (I lay down). Neither. its perfect. It is a short Velour type of feeling, synthetic so it slips but also has a bit of a hold since it has a tiny bit of pile. Its lovely! much better than I expected. *Is the Back of the cover going to cover the back of the couch. YES it should. That being said - my couch has removable (and squishable) back cushions which may take up a bit more room after being smashed down by the dogs. (my loveseat is in the middle of the room so I will update about the back when I get one for the loveseat). *Is it stretch enough? Yes. I have very high arms and so far this looks and works great and the challenges I thought my couch would present don't seem to affect it. so far so good. *does it stretch too much? No It seems to fit wonderfully - no extra fabric is bunching up. *is the size flexible. YES. My couch back is 84 wide by 24 high. the arms are also 24inches high and front to back its 38" deep. seems to work great. I bought the Large 2 cushion i think - Whichever fit into the measurement parameters for the back width. So far I am LOVING this. and I plan to order another one for my loveseat. PHOTOS: one is the Couch that I put it on, another is the matching loveseat because I forgot to take a before photo. The last is my 2 dogs about 2 min after I finished. Gotta love 'em. I have brought three slip covers, two from this brand. This brand is a better quality and last forever looking the same as you day you put it on. The brown, a different brand I had to tack it under the front and back. The Blue velvet and the new Rust velvet are this same brand and amazing! I like to change by decorating my living room space. It just comes in handy when you can't get that new couch you want. These covers are absolutely gorgeous! stunning! A easy install a perfect fit there are also chair covers and ottoman covers. What a wonderful feeling it gives me when I walk by. I am in love because it's easy to just wipe of stains or throw in the washer. In this economy, this is a excellent choice to save money. It may take some adjusting, don't give up because when your done, Wait till your family or company comes by.

I just received these slipcovers this week and couldn’t wait to cover my nice but busy floral-patterned sofa and loveseat purchased in the 90s. I took the time to put them on prior to washing to ensure they were the right size. The photos were taken after they were washed, which removed a slight vinegar odor and helped fit them fit a bit better. I’m quite happy with the purchase so far. The material is plush, highly stretchable, and very soft. The ivory color provides a clean, updated look, which is exactly what I wanted. The fit isn’t perfect, obviously, especially at the bottom where I pinned up the original skirted material before pulling the slipcovers all the way down, but for the price, I’m satisfied. The loveseat cover was the more challenging of the two, as it was a little too large, but some experimental tucking helped a lot. I put these on by myself - easy on and off, which should make occasional laundering a breeze. We’ll see how these fair after the crowd descends for Thanksgiving this week! I’ll try to update afterward. Happy to answer any questions.

I had to buy the XL couch cover plus an additional three cushion covers because the back cushions come off of my couch and sit on top of the seat cushions. This made the fit a little weird until I put the back pillows on. It’s loose on the upper inside corners but stretched very tight across the back of my (very large, at the top end of the xl size) couch. Had a little bit of a funky smell when I first opened it but that disappeared quickly. That being said, this cover is great quality. Very soft and stretchy. Deep, pretty shade of teal (first photo is in dim lighting, second photo is mid-day natural sun light). It was pretty easy to get on without help. Only thing is I wish it had straps to go from the front to the back so that it would stay tucked under the front of the couch. My couch feet are right on the corners so they get in the way, but I plan to use some upholstery tacks for that. 10/10 would buy again.

Great product. It is well made, comfy, and fits fairly well on our Burrow Nomad sofa and ottoman. See the before and after pics for reference. Fit on couch frame: OK, a bit loose at the arms. Fit on seat cushions: almost perfect. Fit on ottoman: a bit snug. Easy to apply and remove. The Oatmeal Color is true to the images on Amazon. Expect a few wrinkles to show, but with proper positioning and anchoring of the material, it stays in place quite well, and you can always smooth out most of the ripples. Best part: no more cushion stains left behind by our indoor-outdoor cats!
