Honestly I thought about replacing the sofa but it was a bit expensive. The fabric was dated so I thought let me try a slipcover. I have purchased slipcovers before and hated the constant fixing and adjusting. The seat covers are critical for a slipcover to work! These are amazing covers. They do look like covers - especially after a few washes, but not in a way that looks tacky or weird. They are elegant, soft, and functional. We foster animals and I am extremely particular qith hour my house looks and smells. Unfortunately a few cats scratched the heck out of the side of our couch and although it was easily hidden by rearranging the furniture, it bothered me incessantly just knowing it was there in the open. I had these covers in my cart for months before I decided to give them a try. They exceeded expectations. They are durable, easy to out on the furniture, they fit well, looks nice and definitely have some sort of level of waterproofness. We tested with water and although it eventually did go through, it took awhile. We have had them for over a year and I will be purchasing another set soon ,so that we have one *untouched* for when we have guests over and the other for every day use.

Beautiful Soft Material I ordered chocolate, a perfect color for my living room flooring. The couch covering was very easy to install, stays in place too. I ordered the perfect size for my 3 cushion couch. So nice to cover this very old fashioned flower patterned couch ( promised landlord I would keep this couch, great condition otherwise). Love the new look and the lovely gorgeous feel of my new couch cover. I would definitely recommend these couch covers & chair covers. My next purchase is going to be a chair covering for our old reclining chair. I notice they have reclining chair covers , same beautiful velvety soft material in a variety of colors.

I purchased this as I needed a cover that was fitted and would not fall off or I was not having to readjust my prior cover all of the time. I love the color I selected and it’s incredible soft. Once I figured out how to correctly put it on, it fit great over my couch. I can’t speak to waterproof but it was been easy to clean when it comes to getting dog hair off my couch. The covers for the cushions fit great and were easy to zip.

I have purchased this item twice for the same couch, in two different colors - first gray, then oatmeal. My couch is a weirdly-sized 77" including arms but only 70" back, so the first time I chose the 2-cushion loveseat size. The second time, they had added a 2-cushion sofa size, and I chose that. Both items were of excellent quality! The velvet looks and feels wonderful. The thickness of the fabric is perfect and takes loads of wear and tear without showing (including plenty of cat claws). The color on both items has been consistent and beautiful. This cover hides my 20-year old -extremely- stained and ugly chenille sofa (but it is so comfortable!). I absolutely love the color choices provided by this seller as well. I liked so many that it was tough to choose, but I am happy with the updated "oatmeal" color. Both of these sizes fit my sofa, but with the loveseat size, the cushion covers were a very tight fit and squeezed my cushions flat. The cover itself fit beautifully, as though it were made for my couch. A little tucking and pulling, and the thing lasted three solid years of teenagers and cats. Ultimately, it developed a couple of holes along the top back from kitty claws, so we purchased a new one. The new size is absolutely lovely, but has a little extra fabric to tuck in compared to the other size - which is totally fine! This will help it to stay in place without slipping as much. Very pleased and would recommend without hesitation. Bonus: it arrived next-day from Amazon!

Wonderful product. I had tried another brand covering my sofa & 2 chairs, & this by far is the best. It was purchased to protect my furniture from my cat using my furniture as a scratching post & from her hair. The other brand required me to put towels under the sofa & chair protector bcz the weave was loose enough to allow the hair to slip through. The fabric on this brand feels substantial & time will tell if it resists my cat's claws. I love that it has separate seat cushion covers so you don't have that annoying slippage each time you get up. The overall piece covers the sofa/chair from top to bottom (remove seat cushions), then separately cover the seat cushions & maneuver the seats over the overall cover. Make sure you have enough give in the overall cover so the seat cushions will fit back onto the sofa/chair. The one I purchased for my 3-seater sofa & chairs had a lot of give so it was no problem. I did work up a sweat getting the seat cushions back in place (easier with 2 people). The huge bonus was the fabric seems to resist cat hair so very little clean up. It comes in many colors & it looks rich & the fit is great. The washing instructions is cold water & hang to dry or air dry. It took over 3 hours to air dry in my dryer so I finally used the delicate low heat setting & it was fine.
