This is the second time I have bought this brand. I washed them according to the instructions and they came out perfectly. I did hang them to dry and touched them up with a warm iron. I especially like that they are 52" wide; that seems to give them fullness and they lay better. The biggest selling point for me is that they have a white back. The color is as depicted, and I was fortunate it complemented the color of the room. They are considered blackout, although because of the curtain rod I used, light comes in around the perimeter. This is not an issue for me as I really didn't want blackout, I just liked these curtains. I had originally installed them on a 1.5" wooden curtain rod, but I thought it was too tight a fit. I then put them on a 1" metal rod and I am extremely pleased with the fit. I installed the rod about 6" away from either side of the window frame. I like to open the curtains during the day and I don't want them blocking any part of the glass. The window is small and this lets in the most light. I guess the only negative is that I wish they came in more colors. I would recommend. ... show more

These curtains are nice and heavy, they definitely block out the light. I was skeptical due to some reviews. They do come wrinkly, iron and steamer removed most of the creases. The fabric is really nice.

I have a sunroom with 3 walls of windows, facing east, west, south. And they aren't even close to being quality insulated windows, so needless to say the gets a lot of beautiful sunshine, but a lot of heat and cold. I bought 2 pair to do the west wall because that's where the hottest temps come in from. I loved them and bought them for all 3 walls. They not only help with the temp, but they help with the glare from the sun when we are trying to watch TV during the day and give great privacy in the evening. Rod pockets are my preferred curtain type and they are hard to find. These curtains are attractive, cost effective, and well worth the price. Easy to use the tiebacks when we want to look out at the flowers and butterflies and birds, but close when we don't. I am going to make floral valances and cover the tie backs with the floral fabric to dress them up, but the white that I have looks very nice and they look & feel like very expensive draperies. My ONLY complaint is that the texture is almost like a brushed denim, which is fine, but I have 3 long haired cats who like to sit in my windows and the curtains are like a magnet to their hair. But I that is easy to fix with a lint brush or a piece of duct tape. I don't write reviews unless I am thrilled with a product, and I am very happy with this. ... show more

Many blackout curtains are priced higher. I was worried these would be poor quality. Very please with the quality and the amount of light that they block. The white version is a cold color with grey undertones. The "natural" color is warmer and yet just a very pale cream color - more attractive in my opinion. I rarely write reviews but felt obligated this time. I am a curtain fanatic. I have so many sets in my storage that it is embarrassing, but I have never been more disappointed than with these. I first tried drying them with a wet towel to get out wrinkles and it didn't work at all so I tried washing them and drying each panel separately, hanging them immediately. Still a wrinkled mess. I tried leaving them hung for a few days to see if it would relax wrinkles. Didn't change them a bit. Now I am ironing them with full steam, full heat and the wrinkles do not relax a single bit as you can see in the picture. (Hanging they look much worse.) Honestly these are the worst curtains I have ever purchased in my 68 years. On a side note, I have purchased from this company several times with fantastic results. ... show more

I bought this curtains for a part of my house that I didn't need nice curtains. Overall the curtains are decent and do what they say they do. They are a little stiff and don't lay exactly in a relaxed way. Also, I washed these a handful of times in the last 6 months and I cannot get the wrinkles out of them so far.
